You got internert, I'm sure someone around you's gotta drive a bike or a manual. Teachers, relatives, hobbits, wizards, Peter Jacksons, etc, etc. I didn't get my license till I was 18, and it literally took me like 30 minutes to take it from stalling to burning rubber with t3h awesome FF-Rolla-Peelouts. Keep your Gran Turismo copy spinnin' till you find someone willing to take an hour to teach ya. |

The Japanese sports car market died long ago, but is slowly coming back around. I can imagine a new Initial D featuring the protagonist in a GT86, but then what else? New Roadster, new NSX, new FT-1, new Civic... That's all I can think of right now. |

Initial D with modern cars today would be ridiculous. Think about it, a R35 GTR going against a GT86 , An IS 350 going against a GT86, or even a LanEvo X going against a GT86. It sounds funny and not realistic. Not to mention their is no FD or FC to fill the gap or even a Furai to go against the GTR or the new NSX. Its an absolutely ridiculous and everyone would know the story or not be interested in it EVEN to older fans. Its over and the only thing that represents its lasting "essence" would be the arcade games, Legend movies, and Hot Version. Just think about how good the series was.

I really don't want to say this but, the story needs to be different in characters, and even structure. From Stage 1-3 its about Takumi. Then, Stage 4-Final was about Project D. I'd say to probably continue off of Takumi's storyline or make a new character that would challenge him at the end. uggh the story was non-existent for this show and it really didn't matter. All the special effects and techniques were shown in bare sight. There's no need for "show-and-tell". All was shown and told.

The only reason japanese cars are relevant is because they are cheap e.g i can buy a rx8 here for 11k which is pretty cheap. P.S Theres a Lan Evo X in front of me right now and it looks and sounds damn good. |

Have you seen the kids in today's car scene? They like fuck tons of negative camber on shitty VWs. And participation trophies. And flat billed hats. And vaping. This post has been edited by Spaz on Sep 27 2015, 01:41 PM

I know what you're talking about and it makes my heart crushed by the gravity of their ignorance. These kids think that the suspension and tires would be fine until they realize the tires are going to be warped and melted after hard 80 miles of driving. In LA, thats driving from Santa Monica to LA 4 times. I wish kids can understand the harsh stuff they do on their cars or have AT LEAST awareness on what they are doing.

I can 110% confirm that this is the most accurate statement made in this topic. I mean granted I really shouldn't be puffing the wacky tobacky period, but vaping no matter how cool it looks, still feels like you're inhaling exhaust fumes out of a robo-chocobo's butt. My throat always feels like it swallowed a dying cat whenever I've vaped. Reg cigarettes at least don't scratch your airway.
