I got my G25 for $200. The con to the G25 is that the shifter is the weakest part of the wheel and if you are going to mod the shifter, you have to be extra careful or else it'll be useless like mine. I'm going to try to fix it on friday and stupid logitech has horrible customer service.

just tried out my brand new sweet g25 and wanna give some feedback
I also compared with my old Driving force Pro PS2 ver.

G25:
Initial D Extreme Stage 7/10-
could have been better, but the steering just doesn't feel like the arcade
its nice that both sequential and nonseq works

GT5 prologue 9/10
almost perfect, but no clutch support

Wangan Midnight PS3 5/10-
ok, the wheel makes you kick ass in the game, but no sequential lose the feel to WMMT

Initial D Special Stage 5/10-
shifter not available, can't program buttons, up and down button not in a good position for shifting, but allow you to turn more than 90 degree, which is awesome

Wangan Midnight PS2 6/10-
nonseq shifter works like a charm, the controls feel a little harder with this wheel than DFP

Gran turismo 4 8/10-
since its a ps2 game, it does not support sequential shifter or clutch
but the driving still feels awesome, I'll keep playing this game until GT5 comes out

Driving force Pro PS2 ver:
Initial D Special Stage 7/10-
despite that the shifter doesn't work, up and down d-pad will do for shifting and is actually not that bad. the steering control of course cannot compare with AS2

Wangan Midnight ps2 7/10-
shifter works, steering is a little sensitive

Gran Turismo 4 10/10-
The wheel was designed for this game therefore its possibly the best game suitable for DFP

you need a replacement for shifter? is it that vulnerable?

I hope logitech develops a new replacable shifter that's much stronger and has a feedback that links with the clutch so it feels like a real shifter

gt5 prologue does have clutch support, to activate it you have a press the top button on the shifter bit (one of the circle ones, it would be triangle as if looking at a ps controller). you have to do this in race though, and for every race.

hopefully when gt5 is released there will be an option to enable the clutch the whole time
