i think it's a good thing! shows you have initiative and you showed the team name on here! PM me a link for it and I'll throw it up on the team youtube thats been up for years. If you want any editing done let me know, I like that stuff too  maybe i'll make a happo one tonight, i just watched my 2'50 run and i dont understand how I got that time, i only had one good cp! haha |

^ Is it just me or does Happo feel like ice to FR's? I've noticed that on some turns the rear slides out more than I'd like. Maybe it's the fact the my 86 is still normal tuned, I dunno.  That is a nice time btw, I'm only around a 2'59" with my Evo. I'm currently working on recording an Iro and Akagi TA. Wednesday will be my next day off (other than school) I should have time then. |

| I got a request. I wanted to do this on special stage but it seems I got punk'd... meaning I can't. IDSS has no 2player, online or anything. Sure there's time attack but the ghost won't appear when you watch the replay and they're part-transparent when the cars are close to each other... sucky... but I loved that game... and since you offered a video and request thread... | i wasnt playing initial d when ss first came out...i started like the last 6 months of id3 haha i played idss on psp....the V3 one and i can get OK times but no where near clouds but what im saying is, yes on idss people did get amazing times such as yourself however its highly unlikely someone can retain line within 1 second of WR for as4 with controller....i guess it would be possible but this early i dont think so especially since first corner akina, fire works turn and a few other turns you dont even have too fully lock the wheel, does the analog stick allow you too turn the wheels to a certain degree? |

ya, I donno. To be honest happo was the only reason I bought this game because the one time I played V4 in the arcade I hated it. I only screw around on other courses, happo is the only one I've learned as of now because I can still use proper lines and get good times. And ya I've been to the broken before, I got a few buddies around that area. I dont' see myself going there anytime soon tho, long drive to play crappy arcade games (WMMT3, Broken V3 ID, Broken T5DR). |

how do most of you guys run at 5th gear without losing speed on akina? everytime i shift up into 5th, my acceleration isn't as crazy fast as i see in those videos (i do brake now  ). but say i reach 160; everytime i do those little turns (you guys seem to do a little slight side-jerk with the car) i lose speed and have to shift back to 4th. you guys seem to lose 2 and quickly shot back up to 170. and my 5th gear speed only seems to increase during straightaways and drops at every little curve i'm at. what is the key to keeping the acceleration and speed from dropping? |

| TV tuner cards are relatively inexpensive as they can run you anywheres from $100 to $150. It also depends on the OS you are running. Other than that, invest in a good tripod and a really nice camera? I suppose I'll throw in a request of a GC8v on Happogahara. Where's Tomo-san when I need him!? |

| Nah, I'm not playing. I haven't played ID4 enough to buy. Probably wouldn't be any good anyway. I'd be eating wall every other hairpin. Although I thought that very same thing when I bought special stage a few years back. And, my times turned out way better than I could have imagined. Part of that was the push Tomo gave me, but hey. I do see myself getting it eventually. Just, not now. |

Thanks for the comment and the advice, and also for uploading the 47 vid. It helped out a lot when I was starting out. I'm planning to revisit Happo soon. I just have some unfinished business on Akagi. Anyway, any time you're not busy, would you please add my Akagi DH D video to the first post? IMO a PS3 isn't a bad investment if you're a fan of the ID game series. With IDAS5 coming out, they might decide to make a PS3 port of it later on. |

I have a 2'55'xxx on the IB with the controller and hope to improve that with my shiny new wheel. Also if someone could point me to a course king thread so I know what cars to build. | Ah, I had a feeling after looking into it from great depth. The thing is, I just recently tried to use VBR instead of CBR and I noticed that VBR keeps my quality looking pretty good, but the bad thing is.. it made one of my videos 2.03gb's for just a 3 minute race. x.x; I'm working on bumping my stuff up, but it'll be awhile... if i can't figure out a method, its alright. lol |

It's good being raw and all, but sooner or later.. you'll want to add your own soundtrack. ;P It's just hard to figure out the proper render settings for the game on vegas. Some games become complicated when it comes to rendering, sadly.. I thought they would be all the same. The render thing I know of, because I stare at my raw files a-lot. lol |

Yeah, I merged that one with another one and then added my own touch to it. That 29 frame thing the other guy was going on about, is not accurate at all. That only works for slow paced games, when you play something that involves a-lot of speed, the frames will skip. |

Thanks! If it helps at all, it's a Motorola DCH6416. We got it with our digital cable. Every time I hit record, it would try to record the cable channel instead of the PS3. I have no idea how to work the thing, since I never watch the TV. |

| My HDD's acting up again, actually. Just started last night. It won't even restore itself. I'm going to try formatting it via PC some time. But I might have to either get a new HDD or get an entirely new PS3. : \ There's no Yellow light, but when it's in the middle of restoring, sometimes it'll turn itself off and there'll be a blinking red light. No idea what that means though. Also, on topic, here's a really fun battle I had on Iroha Wet a few days ago!
