I've found an exhaust manifold that'll allow me to bolt one on, but turbos are kinda expensive on ebay. I'd like to see if i can get one at the local junkyards, maybe i can get a good deal Then all I've gotta do is figure out how to mount it, plumb it in, increase the fuel input...... the simple stuff. |

Does anyone know? |

A) the Ford Thunderbird Turbo coupe and the The Ranger had the T3 (Would also put it on the stang svo) and said the difference in the housings was in stud placement and could be milled to swap around. The ford was the stock configuration and the Mopar for the daytona was offset. So if you need the stock square the fords would be the first place to look. Not sure if I'm correct just going from memory but it's an idea. |

♪ don't say lazy ♪ Group: Members Posts: 170 Member No.: 86 Joined: Nov 17th 2002 Location: Update Profile | Thats why you build your own kits... if you know what youre doing, its a lot cheaper and has way more potential. And just putting a turbo on a car isnt the best thing to do. Build the engine around the turbo, dont just build an engine and then go, "Hmmmm i need mad fast, TURBO!" You seem like you know what youre doing, so this probably wouldnt apply to you. Just as a general rule... if youre gonna run lots of boost, invest the money for forged internals and all that good stuff you need. It will pay off a lot in the long run. |

I'm planning on building an engine around my turbo, there's an 82 sirocco I'm gonna take the engine out of and build my turbo system onto that. Then I'll install the entire engine into my vehicle. sadly, I'm restricted to 170 hp or so by the stock fuel injection, and stand alone FI is out of my price range, for now. Someday.... |
