Okay I recently decided to buy the complete soundtrack of Initial D and I came across the "5 CDs Millenium Box Set" on EBay. But I noticed that some original songs are missing like the original "Around The World", "Rage your dreams" etc... and also "Don't stop the music" is only available in the non-stop megamix... sucks!... So I would like to ask: how many soundtracks does Initial D have and can you name them all to me please? I really want to own every single original songs of the serie...

Thanks! smile.gif

umm there are around 20 Initial D soundtracks.
I probably can't include them all, but here you are,

Initial D D Selection 1 *
Initial D D Selection 2 *
Initial D D Selection 3
Initial D Vocal Battle
Initial D Sound Files Volume 1
Initial D Sound Files Volume 2
Initial D Second Stage D Selection 1 *
Initial D Second Stage D Non-Stop Selection *
Initial D Second Stage Vocal Battle *
Initial D Non-Stop Megamix *
Initial D Second Stage Sound Files
Initial D Super Euro-Best *
Initial D The Movie Of Super Eurobeat *
Initial D The Movie Original Sound Tracks *
Initial D Extra Stage Original Sound Tracks *
Initial D Vocal Battle Special feat. TAKAHASHI Bros.
Initial D Battle Stage
Initial D D Best Selection *

The ones that have the asterisk next to it are the one I possess. smile.gif

You must be insane to collect all of them. unsure.gif

Don't worry I'm not interested in the sounds or vocals... Just ALL the songs from the serie...

And what are the soundtracks I must buy in this list (didn't you forget some?) so I can have ALL the original songs from Initial D? And when I say "original" I mean the "stand-alone" version, not a remix in a non-stop megamix or something like that... dry.gif

I was hoping that the 5 CDs Millennium Boxset would have all the songs but I was wrong... **sigh** sad.gif

If you want all the "stand-alone" songs from Initial D, I suggest you get the following,

Initial D D Selection 1
Initial D D Selection 2
Initial D D Selection 3
Initial D Second Stage D Selection 1
Initial D Super Euro-Best
Initial D The Movie Of Super Eurobeat
Super EuroBeat presents: Initial D Battle Stage

Initial D The Movie Original Sound Tracks
Initial D Extra Stage Original Sound Tracks

These two CDs contains some sound files and background music, but it also has some original songs, like Impact Blue, NEXT, strike on, Gamble Rumble ... etc.

It's up to you to buy those two or not. I personally have both of them. happy.gif

And you are sure I will have all of the songs if I buy those? Also is there a Second Stage selection 2?

Yea I am pretty sure you will get all the original songs if you get what I suggested, and there is no Second Stage D Selection 2.

And what is the best place on the net to buy them all at the same time? If possible a place where they give a description of the CDs (songs)...

you could try the hk or taiwanese knock offs. They're much cheaper but usually don't come with the extras, etc. The boxart is different too

here's one site i found: http://houseofanime.com/cgi-bin/shop2.cgi?...ime+Soundtracks

Yep, by ordering them on yesasia, you are guaranteed to get the original Japanese versions, no Chinese or HK ripoffs......

I personally still like the D-selection series best out of them all, oh yeah, the Movie Super Eurobeat soundtrack is cool, same as their best selection.

Can't go wrong without the vocal soundtracks.
