Anyways, right now, my friend and I are using stock cars on Nagao dh dry. The best he achieved was a high 3'26. My best is a mid 3'27. Our first sector is a 55.xx, but the difference is his second sector is also a 55 but mine is a 57. I pick up some of the difference in third sector but he's still faster. I'm using a FDrs6 whereas he's using an eg6 ohmy.gif I've been watching videos, so I now don't use 5th gear the first sweeping corners (brake and downshift to 3rd appropriately), but I have no idea how to take the gutters.

or even more pro, does that tapping sound mean an intentional tap to the wall or guardrail???!?!?!?

can anyone make a guide for me? Besides, what's the limit for a stock car on Nagao dh dry

the limit? Well, subtract the course car boost and FT boost in time from the fastest run out there, and you have the theoretical limit.

I unno, but isnt nagao just akagi with a huge yawning maw on its insides? Try playing it like you play akagi; as far as i can see, the speeds are pretty similar.

I have no problem with Akagi, Nagao is considerately more technical. I guess the question is how to use the gutters and how to maximize boost for cp3, cp4 (still last few corners, have no acceleration and cannot just use 5th gear all the way through, have to downshift to 4th and then accel is really slow)

Back again, didn't really change all that much, just started braking a little earlier. Just ran a 3'26.303 stock car ohmy.gif

If you really want to fully utilize the gutters, hit 100+ rpm and drop in it. Your car won't drop fully. I saw some of the pros doing this, but i have no idea why. Maybe it can increase your time.

So, its the RPM that determines whether one falls into the gutter?

I love playing Nagao DH its fun, even though my times are super slow relatively compared to the best players out there. Like 3'35 or 3'40 a week ago. Have not learned gutters yet but one step at a time I guess.

actually all gutters can be used, regardless of speed, if u shift your car's weight properly via drift, UH or DH.
It is a very high level technique. otherwise, dont go below 80 and u will not fall

Play with the brake and gas.

When you brake you shift the weight forward on the front tires. When you gas, you put the weight on the back. This is what Takumi did to navigate the gutters. He didn't brake; or else he would have made his front tire fall in.
