| Can Any1 Tell me What was the Feeling of the Car Going when Drift? Any Video to share? How to Make a Perfect Drift without over used the Tyre??? Cause i Sucks on Grip Run.. |

is hard to describe youtube has many i think a perfect drift needs practice if you suck at grip, drift doesn't mean it's easier... |

Why don't you try and follow this link? It teaches you 2 way to drift, but the lining will be very messy than grip so I would suggest you to use grip until you cannot break any records then you start drift. Hope this helps.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IWoGfclCMo |

| It'd probably make it even HARDER. Gripping has you, you know, actually in control of the car. Point it where you want it to go and it goes. |

| The funny thing about drifting IMO is that it is something that is actually much easier to learn when you start this game fresh. I've been playing since last July/August till now which is really quite some time already and have been slowly improving and trying out grip style running. Whenever I try mimicking how other drift, it almost always ends up failing because I just can't get the hang of it. I guess I'm pretty much done for. I suck! Argh! |

| I always wondered why drifting actually sort of good for tire managers instead of the opposite? Shouldn't it be like............really really bad? Of course, I guess good tires not suppose to give you THAT much of a boost either.....>__>, the a game I guess. |

to put it simply, when you drift, you create an angle whereby after the exit of a corner, your car will be facing to the direction of the road ahead, and you can immediately step on the gas and continue running. that would be called an ideal drift also, let's say, in Akina, attacking the corner at 74kmph would be so-called 'ideal', yes? even so, you can't say it doesn't use any tyre management at all even at 74kmph. that's where drift comes in, 1) it pulls your car to the side, therefore exiting the corners more quickly 2) it creates an angle, therefore you can save time from waiting for the car to be properly aligned with the direction of the road before stepping on the gas 3) from 1) and 2), you can safely brake more so that more tyre is conserved, therefore having more 'boost' at the last part |

it's not that big of a deal at all, really  put it harshly, if you can't even grip your car properly, don't think about doing drift, you will suck big time  |

drifting is great fun~ actually yea... but as long as you can do a decent grip run, you can try adding some drift. if you're still unable to 'go where you want' in a corner, basically struggling with the car... dont try drift. yet. its not the ultimate power. Grip can go heaps fast too if done perfectly. Drift just makes it better. but it sure is fun drifting~ |

| i watched and re-watched that Louis video again and was only able to do 3:10"2XX on my AE86 with grip run. I noticed that I can get the car to break into a slide but when I gas it out of the corner, it tends to run too far off instead of sticking to the nice lining that we see. I'm guessing that it should be because of my timing. Either I gassed it too early and lifted off the brakes too early. Still learning the ropes around it. With grip run, I'm doing 3'09"0XX and that sucks considering how many people I'm seeing who's running 3'07 or 3'06... |

That would be great! Anyway, I just tried braking the usual way, give it some gas just before the corner with the steering already pointing in the direction that I wanted to steer the car, let it slide while still holding on to brake and then release the brakes + gas the accelerator smoothly whilst counter steering at the same time. This kinda gave me similar results to what I've seen in videos and I did about 14 runs on Akina with my AE86 and managed a 3'08"985.... At least now with drift (@ CP1 2nd hairpin, CP2 1st & 2nd hairpin, CP4 1st and 2nd hairpin) I'm able to maintain near my record timing with grip style. Hopefully I'll be able to improve on my lining and timing and get faster. |

no problem, be patient with the drifts and most of all stay calm when in a corner （・∀・）v yakiniku is doing fine here, you can ask him if he ever replys back ( ^x^'') |

Haven't been to Bugis for a while though...No more offline cards left to play there but I'll definitely go back once in a while since that's where I started playing ID and learnt the ropes from you last August.... Still remembered challenging you the first time and I go pawned badly....lol... |
