QUOTE (Yoshida Seiji @ Yesterday at 2:16 AM)
I dunno about all of that. I don't think a video game will ever mimic reality well. As far as driving physics go. Battle Gear is fun, but I don't really consider it realistic. I can drift in real life, but I suck at drifting on Battle Gear. IDAS5 will be fun, but, hardly realistic.

no one ever really said omg teh physics are real
its a tad more realistic now, which in turn makes it possibly more fun to play for some and worse by others

And the NSX is far lighter than the R32, which should answer your question.

Oic, thanks. Oh i found a battle vid check it out!!! smile.gif It's a little dark so you might want to increase your monitor's brightness.

That Iro vid was sick. Reminded me of v3 Iro except the turns were alot slower. The gameplay reminds me alot of battle gear and maximum tune for some reason though.

It is. That's cool AND a problem. I got use to gear3 turning at Akina (v4). Now I need to change my style AGAIN.

ohmy.gif has anybody noticed that in stage 5 you dont lose speed in small turns like in stage 5.
there is just a small stall during the turn then it just kicks back a lil after the apex.

well i havent seen a vid where i see anybody lose speed aside from the braking, which you can clearly see when they are bracking.

yeah, the speed doesn't drop like in version 4 but the acceleration seem faster than version 4

How come some of the players testing version 5 already have over a million points if you look at it at the end of the video, does that mean the card is transferable or are those players just playing it like crazy

If anybody has akagi or hagao video, please post it.
hope this come to CA soon to revive ID over here

it is highly likely that they were able to transfer their card data, i mean the ID5 scenes there are just tests, and in the ID5 website, there was a special mention about "ID4 kai" (which is the jap. equivalent of ID4 v1.5 in the eng. international version), so it is very much possible they were able to transfer their card data since the their ranks (some of them even kept their SS auras) and points remained intact...

...and we all hope it would be the same here (card data transfer FTW), otherwise most people who didn't care much about ID4 would probably care even less about ID5...

the speed does still decelerate when turning too hard, you can see it in the akina uh video after the consec's
it just seems maybe because id4 the car was fully sideways where as in this its more on the grip side, so possibly how much you turn or how shit your line is creating excessive turning decides how much you decelerate on those full throttle bends

hagao sounds like one of the dim sum goodies.. tongue.gif

besides happo, theres another new course which i dont know the english name for it

the data is transferable.

and dont count on them putting auras for internation versions.

i dont think they will put it in.. considering what they did to id4

they are such a dork. cool.gif

Even if there aren't any auras for international release, I'm sure there were lessons learned from ID4 and the product put out with ID5 should draw more people in to play.
