I don't know why I didn't make this thread earlier--actually I was waiting on someone else to make the thread.

This series is so awesome! Unfortunately I haven't had the time to fully catch up on all the episodes that are out so far, but from what I've seen it is simply amazing. I love how it takes something from all the past series and blends them together to create pure gundam goodness. Its like Gundam Extreme VS but more because of the customized mobile suits!

Also they stream it live at Robot4Less, its great.

Huh. I wasn't aware that R4L was open at 3AM on Mondays.

Anyway, Build Fighters is great for many reasons, but one of them is because of the sheer amount of awesome obscure niche stuff they bring back from the grave. For instance, this gem right here:

I did not know that they aired it so early in the morning.

I've been disappointed with the last two episodes. Episode 18 was so friggin awesome that it's making the latest ones seem boring.

Is it bad that I want a Miss Shazabi kit and that I want to paint it metallic red? I mean, it looks wonderful! They took all that was good with Shazabi and then made it better! I wonder if she'll look good next to Sinanju...

At this point I am really only watching to see what new custom models they bring out. Its nice and inspiring to see what they come out with.

Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Hopefully it delivers some awesome battles, which hasn't been done since Episode 18 unfortunately. Actually, I take that back. Some of those battles were pretty good. The Kampfer Amazing vs. GM Sniper K9 fight just makes everything else seem bland and predictable.

Unicorn, 00S2, 00Movie and AGE were under some kind of lock by some distributor...or something. It's not that they didn't want to, it's that they couldn't without a bunch of legal effort.

^ Supposedly it was any Gundam released in the last 5 years that couldn't show thanks to that lock because of the channel it was aired on in Japan. It's why one from 00S2 showed up in the final episode, because the lock on that season ended two days before the episode aired.

WOAH MAN ITS HAPPENING! I'm pretty excited although I'll admit haven't finished the first season yet...

I want to say that Build Burning Gundam looks cool... but I really can't. He looks too plain for me. Unless there is a really cool halo effect part then I'll eat my words.

Well... I should have looked more into Build Burning Gundam before saying that he didn't come with effect parts... I don't think they look THAT cool though... Just, something is off with the whole design. I'm guessing it is the lack of blue.

Season 1 was absolutely incredible and I'm still in shock they are doing a season two. I would have thought this was going to be a one off for sure!

for some reason I just cant get into the Gundam build series. you have 2 different stories: the RL and the Gundam fighting part. imo they are much like watching the original batman series. you get one story and then the plot just jumps off to another different tangent. the particle emitting board game doesn't really tie the 2 stories together very well to me. don't get me wrong, the mecha fighting parts are good but I just cant tie the fighting and the builders' off game life together.

I did see some fighting scenes only for the custom mecha but that's about it.

TBH, super hyped for this season if it wasn't for the fact that ~~Ramba~~Mr. Ral has a voice actor change by around episode 5 because the original VA is currently ill(?)
