your FD quite stood out on that first shot - it looked totally like a sleeper amongst heavily [body] tuned Subarus. (Not sure if the 86GT there was a Toyota or a Scion FR-S)

The original bumper...

Love the looks of it. Not overly attention seeking.

Is it a single or twin scroll turbo?

T78-33D is a twin scroll, from the looks of it.

also thank you for all of the comments. hopefully over winter there will be some big changes with the aero and interior!!

to rudy it wasnt very hard at all as the law states any vehicle 15 years or older can be brought into canada subject to out of country inspection.

Ohhhhhhhh... You're in Canada. I have to wait until 2018 if I wanted an FD.

>_<

Why? They may be rarer than the FC but there are still plenty of '93 FDs rolling around the US. Unless you're dead set on importing an RX-7.

Specs on the TE37 were 17x9 +22 GTR face. Since the last post they have been sold, going back to 18 inch wheels

the best part of it being a lot of them won't ever need their apex seals changed ever again. awesome.gif

You mean the worst part. I still don't understand why people choose to ruin these cars.

You do know that, as long as you buy a year-model that was also sold in the United States (up until 1992 for the FD) you're able to import the car fairly hassle free, yes? The only thing that has to be done on vehicles imported like that is a replacement of all glass by DOT-spec units, as well as the front and rear bumper bars being either installed or replaced by DOT specified parts. And then you're golden, RHD or otherwise.

For example, I can import a 1993 Supra, RHD. Turbo, the works - In my state there's no emissions, so that's fine - I just have to put USDM Supra windows and bumper bars on it, and it's clear to register.

A friend of mine in Utah does this on the regular with VR4's.
