My understanding is, After 3 rounds, get to change a part. After another 3 rounds, get to Tune your car. So 7-7-7-7-7 would need [3 + 3] x 7-7-7-7-7 = 210? What's a better option, story or TA? Would the online version help to tune faster? Sorry am new into IDAS 5 |

I went to try and it was $2 for one play but every time you play you can tune. So you can save about $70 and much more time. |

EXP2.0 online or offline also the same... every round. so to call it online version isn't really correct. story, TA, battle to tune.. is your choice.. it cost the same anyway. may want to start off with Story mode if points is low cos TA and Battles may not earn points fast enough for some of the more expensive tunings and parts combined. especially so for EXP2.0 |

(beside a big GT-wing to block your opponent's view ). |

Now if only that big wing would get in the way of the driver's rear view mirror too...

I mean..in my opinion full tune is not always the best..well it's just my opinion though..and another question..is there anyway my car with 3-1-6-3-1 tuning can win against a FT car (my car is an R32 GT-R) in tracks like Irohazaka and happogahara?? For battle, boost on and boost off should be no diiference base on my experience, game balances the untuned car to full-tune potential I think. For time attack a 0-0-0-0-0 will be about 5sec slower than a full-tune car.

Mmmm...perhaps the difference isn't as noticeable in battles, or with the more 'powerful' cars? Based on my experience (admittedly, only with one car, but the contrast is stark enough to tell), there's a whole world of difference between a stock car and a fully-tuned car. I wouldn't give myself a snowball's chance in hell with a stock AE85.

it's not about the cars, it's about the drivers. but for TA purpose: 1 Full tuned car > 1 million non-ft cars. This post has been edited by Rei.G on Mar 5 2010, 07:37 AM

oh? does it? i kinda feel that theres a difference... not really noticable in corner-rich sections... but once the road opens into straight hit, the FT car will just pull and pull on a lowly tuned car. throw in a FT car.. its really not all that obvious anymore... yea.. driver plays a huge part too... Any car w/ pro drive >>> FT Car w/ Bad driver.. any time any day. thats how big a difference the car management makes. This post has been edited by stormfox on Mar 5 2010, 09:39 AM
