I have a awesome suggestion of Bunta history:

Bunta is according to Wikipedia 43 years old in First Stage. And that is around 1997. So 1997-43= 1954 was Bunta born. When he was 14/15 his father buyed a blue 240Z around 1969.
His father buyed it for deliveries that Bunta did. Bunta becomes famous as "Akina 240Z!" like Takumi, and starts racing outside his Touge. And get's a upgrade from another engine: original L24 to a overbored L28 with 230HP, still NA. Also, they changed the body to make it lighter: NOT carbon fiber and the chassis number changed to 1974. He dominates Japan with expeditions. After a while he get's a girlfriend and he does less and less racing.
So he decides to buy a smaller car in 1982 (1983 AE86) because he know that his girlfriend is pregnant. XD And sells the 240Z to Kitami Jun!!!

Although I know it's impossible because Initial D and Wangan Midnight are not in the same universe, this is still an awesome idea.

The only problem is that if Bunta had Takumi in 1982, that makes Takumi only around 15 when Initial D starts, and actually he's 18. So by that timeline, it's not possible for Bunta to have gotten the Trueno anytime at or after Takumi's birth.

Some say to get even 0.00001% of Bunta's Godlike skill you have to buy one of every variety of his tofu, and eat it three times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year...... with a full cup of wasabi....

Why is Bunta attending town hall meetings? Who said Bunta's need to? He just there to smoke his cigarette, and if he didn't come, the world will be in deep economic recession...

Rin Hojo would never bump Bunta, out of sheer fear of Bunta's wrath.

F1 was first founded by a group of racers who wanted to outrun Bunta. They are still trying to perfect their drivers to this day...

Bunta was the mastermind who designed the 86, right down to the weight balance of the 86,right down to the engine, the suspension, EVERYTHING about the 86 was his idea and creation.(hence he has theoritically been able to drive it while not doing anything) Including the 4A-GE 20 valve engine which he had found when takumi blew the older one was designed and crafted closely to his specifications.

Bunta created and hid scriptures titled "secret of god arm" and "secret of god foot" throughout saitama. kou and joshima were the ones who managed to find and got a hold of those scriptures. Hence God arm and God foot were born.

Bunta visited Germany and taught a few kids about racing... Germany's racing team now remains of the top teams every year in Le Mans, with only 1% of the information given to them by Bunta
