Goddamn bounty on that dragon is annoying, he just flies and flies, does not land. -.-

I also seem to be getting my ass kicked by necromancers/mages, so strong. sad.gif

Dragons typically can only land on relatively spacious flat surfaces. If you're running around mountains, they will take forever looking for a landing spot.

They can also land on some buildings if they're coded for it.

Once you get the Dragonrend shout (much later in the main story), you can knock them out of the sky.

It's that bounty one ulfric (The one who killed the king) tells you to go kill. He won't land on his mountain, he won't land on semi flat ground around it, seems like I have to be a mile away before he lands. sad.gif

Also, companions guild makes you become a werewolf? Just want to make sure it's right.

Does anybody else think the game would be better if they patched out fast travel? I think the game is too easy since you can teleport everywhere, and doesn't last anywhere as long as it could. It would also evoke more of a Morrowind feel. Remember that first wonderful journey from Seyda Neen to Balmora? Or were you a pussy and took the silt strider/mage guild teleport? biggrin.gif

Traveling from, say, Windhelm to Markath on foot or horse would take a lot of time, but would be more rewarding than just fast traveling. It's an option I take every time now. No more teleporting for this dovahkiin.

I do enjoy fast travel, mainly for the 'go back to this town to get this and come back' part, though I do enjoy traveling to new places. biggrin.gif

I need to boost my smithing stuff, I want to get that deadric or whatever armor, people say it's the best, even better than the dragon. o.o

As much as I would love to immerse myself in the game. I do work 70-80 hours a week. I already commute to work. There are times when I just don't want to commute to an in game location.

I dunno. 50% of the time I use fast travel. I like having the option if I want to use it, ya know?

I use fast travel about 65% of the time. It's to travel to a location that sometimes requires you to jump climb a mountain.

Btw, is it worth installing the game into the hard drive ?

On 360, they patched it so installing won't screw up the texture cache. It will improve those damned loading times, so if you're tired of those, you might as well install.

It's suicidal to even think about playing Oblivion from the disc. laugh.gif

Question, is there anything special about the headless horseman in the game? I've run into him 2 times now, first time I ignored it, though it was some spell of me, just saw it again a few minutes ago, sorta confused. o.O

He leads you to a graveyard filled with hostile skeletons and a treasure chest.

Specifically, he leads you to Hamvir's Rest. The horseman himself is completely invincible and cannot be harmed by any attack in the game. Note that the chest in Hamvir's Rest will not contain enchanted loot unless he leads you there. If you chance upon the place by yourself, the chest will only contain random, worthless junk.

You can create an even lighter variant by simply building an item that boosts enchantment, then build another, and another, and another, infinitely, until you can create items with absurd skill-plus values.

Sneak +500? 1000? It's more than possible.

So far haven't seen any Enchantment Boost Item, only Alchemy and Smithing. I guess I need spend more time in checking the shop. I really like this Ebony armor than Normal one, it looks sleeker than normal Ebony Armor laugh.gif, it gave me idea on next build, Warrior assassin. which mainly with Ebony's armor.

Ebony Boots - Muffle effect
Ebony Glove - Damage one hand/ archery % up
Ebony Helm - Any Suggestion?
Boethiah Ebony - Hid effect - 5 damage to nearby enemies

Blade's Katana /Daedric/ Dawnbreaker (it's Shiny! awesome.gif)
Ebony Shield

I definitely stay away from magic build facepalm.gif since my style tend to charge and butcher enemies right away. Considering One Hand or 2 Hand, Shield charge seems fun.

The perks distribution will be like This Setup

It need 50 perks points from the calculation.

BLOCK
ONE HAND
ENCHANT (all Perks)
ARCHERY
HEAVY ARMOR
SNEAK (with assasin blade - if I dual wield with dagger)
SMITHING (Right side till Daedric)

Where exactly do I get the daedric stuff? I hear that's the best armor/etc in the game, and i don't feel like making a new character (sticking with my first one handed/archer raping machine.)

I also need to learn how to enchant armor and such, i'm getting raped by magic. -.-

Make it with Smithing Lv.90 perks, with Ebony Ingot and Daedra Heart, it has the best looks too.

So far I haven't seen any enemy or chest that contains anything Daedric aside from some arrows. You will have to build it. Daedric and Dragon armor/weapon types are only available if you make them yourself.

My advice, don't bother with Dragon smithing. Daedric is more than enough for any application.

I hope you guys know i'm talking about the items required to make the armor/weapons. Unless it doesn't need anything besides leather and such to create it.

Daedra heart can be purchased from Enthir 800+ gold/piece (2 hearts a day, if I'm not mistaken) from winterhold mage college or Azura Quest, Ebony ingot will be available in shops/trader/weapon smith after lv.25 above

Leather, a bunch of ebony ingots, some iron ingots, and a daedra heart for each part created. Some merchants sell them. Hagravens sometimes have them. Some Daedric quests will grant you a few as well (Mehrunes Dagon will net you upwards of six. Azura will grant you three).

Fuck Skyrim for not warning me that going left would prevent me from getting Daedric.

EDIT: Level 50 Battlemage here. 100 Smithing, Enchanting, Conjuration, Alteration. I love Paralyze. It's so funny seeing limp bodies just fall. laugh.gif
