OK, there are some things that i want to clarify about the computer players. (I'm driving a Evo.III)

1. From what I understand, the computers drive on pre - set routes; Having said that, i realized that the first guy on Usui drives faster than me, but corners slowly

2. Do the comps really care to block you? I was trailing Tak on Myogi on the final lap.......4 meters from the finish line he stopped blocking me and i stepped on it and ended up winning. (I was like WTF?)

3. I saw some players on Bunta Challenge. They made almost 90 degree turn at the start line to block him (Bunta). Is that really necessary?

4. (This is not really in the topic but bear with me) Is there any way to do a corner and loose as little speed as possible? (i hvae read other threads but i dont really understand it)

I believe you're talking about V3. The sections are different. Please take note of that.

To answer, the computer doesnt really BLOCK LIKE MAD, but you'd think it would in tight courses like Shomaru where it's almost impossible to pass. Remember that they follow a set time and path. Bunta challenge in Myogi and others require you to get ahead or you're pretty much lost at higher levels, and any kind of cornering will lose speed. If you want the best kind of cornering with as little speed loss as possible, you should check youtube for runs.

1) Computers drive at a pre-set routes/lines and for the most part, always corners slower than you (there are some exceptions).

2) Comps don't care to block you since as per 1) they are running pre-set lines. However, sometimes you will find them to be an obstruction so they will appear to be blocking you.

3) It is necessary because at higher levels of Bunta Challenge it is a pain to get past him (and for some cars, if they don't ram at the start they will never have the chance to win - take Myogi for example with anything that's not a Skyline/Capp)..so most people choose to ram him at the start to lead. (works for everywhere save for Iro and Happo I think).

And while you're talking about ID3...point 1 and 2 applies to all the other vers....
