I am not sure whether to delete my Evo IV to get a new car or not. Pls Help!!! It would help if you guys would tell me what car to choose... http://www.rp-taki.com/~rp-taki/webapps/sh...rpt?v=8&w=1&t=2 This post has been edited by *VIC* on May 2 2010, 11:59 PM |

You can go delete it and choose the Evo VII or the RX7 or the Trueno... Or you can stay with the Evo just like I do... For me? Even if told that the Evo was not the top car, I used it and am happy using it... From AS3 to AS5, my only main car is the Evo IV... So I am quite knowledgable about the Evo IV... Evo IV's tend to do understeer at certain corners right? That can't be denied... But what you have to do is do something to make use of it or do something to compensate for it... For me, I am out to prove that the Evo should be the top car and not just at the 21 spot... And I believe I can take it out of 21... All I need is practice, practice and practice... Evo7 slide more? From the very begining I drive the car I like it a lot cause it is so grip it tend to under steer but it usually happen when you push so hard or you brake at the very last moment but I have never drive Evo3 so I can't compare the pro and con of both car.... Love to play Evo7 at rain condition...

The 5a.m.-coffee-drinking- Evo.IV-driver Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,557 Member No.: 20,298 Joined: Sep 18th 2006 Location: Anywhere | The Evo IV is a gripper... It tends to grip corners more than slide in it... As a result, it understeers... But that understeerness is also manageable and can be used to your advantage [Iro]... Know what? I can tell you the Evo is this than the RX7 or Trueno... But anyhow... You're the driver... The car is... Well... the car... It up to you to learn to handle the car, the presented attributes [ie. oversteer/understeer] and the changes it shows if tuned... Like I said and was also told... IT'S THE DRIVER, NOT THE CAR... As for me... All the Evos are great... It maybe underrated but I can show that it's a great car, and on some occasions, showed it to almost anyone I come against with... Why? Coz I tried to master and muster the car... How it behaves on certain corners and ways on how I can push it to it's true potential... And I am still using the Evo regardless of the updates... |

based on feel only... E7 has the legs to run.. slightly driftly one of the top all rounders now. heeh... E3 is a cornering machine... stable car... fog lamps! oh god... it looks so good on an evo.. why did they remove it for the E4 E4 somewhere in between... i guess... but the parts selection kinda shitty =( E9... mm... man... go try the E9 if you say want to say the E7 is slidy... >_<... but but... then again the 6 shifter is fun! go try them out if you are really that unsure. Full tune ones. stock ones always feel odd to me but either way like some mentioned. dont delete the car, just start another one. its a waste to delete it. where do you usually play? oh... unless you are like within 2-3s of WordRecord , i doubt the car feel will make any difference to you. i'm not that far behind you on some tracks i guess (based on the IR)... and all my 4 FT Evos are about on-par with each other in TA if need be... even the E9... >_< *faints* This post has been edited by stormfox on May 7 2010, 01:15 AM

STRMFX lo... =P long way to go ah brother... before the car differences really make a difference. the only difference it makes now is if the road is hard or easy only (E9 for the challenge! lolx)
