Hey guys/gals. Some of you may have seen this on the WME forums, but I just wanted to share with you a film I made. You can see alot of influnces from Initial D I think. Being an artist, it was filmed and directed from that standpoint, since I have no experience or training in film directing. Hope you guys enjoy and sorry to the Admin team if I misplaced this link (or if this link should be placed elsewhere to get more interest).

That was pretty good. Definitely did more than what you sought out to do.

I either lost interest after Kenshiro's intro, or you got a little impatient with the editing. Transitions were rough, some scenes were out of place, and some effects ruined the flow of the short, breaking up the otherwise decent connection between sound and action.

Either way, I enjoyed it immensely. A lot better than what I can do. Props! happy.gif

Liked and subscribed.

That was awesome, but I've gotta ask... I've seen my share of imported Evos here in SoCal but I haven't seen LHD 4s and 5s. Those are some killer machines and I'm incredibly jealous.

Also woot, a 280Z made it into the film! FAIRLADY REPRESENT! w00t2.gif

Welcome to Initial D World and enjoy your stay.

Hey CM smile.gif

Thank you for the welcome. The Evo 5 (which is mine) and the Evo 4 were both built by me from Mirages. But keep in mind that nothing on the chassis is "Mirage" any more other than 'some' of the frame lol. Full conversion with entire floor pan. You can see the build on my youtube channel as well for those interested. They did build early Evo's LHD in places like the Phillipines and Germany, but I decided to keep all my cars LHD because it's more practicle here in America. I didn't feel the need to be "JDM TYTE" and do RHD if I'm going to be using it efficiently. And my plans to convert the R32 GTR I get to LHD are still underway lol.

I have some ideas for the next project that involve Initial D. I will be taking chapters out of Manga sections that haven't been made into Anime or Live Action sequences yet and acting them out in quick 5 min clips. It's just an idea, but I know enough people to execute this I think. We'll see if it comes to fruition...

You're up in NorCal aren't you... It's too bad. I had a similar idea and would have loved to collaborate. Hit us up if you ever come down to SoCal. You make some fine work.

It's only a 6 hour drive away, and honestly the drive isn't that bad if you do it at night. wink2.gif Hint hint.

I will be in Socal for AnimeExpo, but I doubt my friends will allow me to pull away long enough to film heh. But maybe someday, or if you're ever up here, definetly.

Nice smile.gif I may go as Akuma again, but I'm not as swole as I used to be when I did it for AX09. If you guys bring your cars, I'm sure I can think of something creative to shoot in a nearby garage biggrin.gif If not, it'd be great to meet ya'll at the con.

I'm thinking of making these FREE with every purchase of a Tshirt smile.gif Just trying to gain interest so I know how many to make. It's still in the making though because I'm working on some small extras to add in the menu. Maybe End of Feb? Thinking of only making very few of these since interest will more than likely be low anyway.

Any chance of that shirt as a black w/ white text variant? I have way too much white automotive apparel.

Ah you're right. When I find a place to go with for the prints, I'll make sure we have a black with white (or red) lettering option. Until I find a place, I can't come up with pricing yet. Want to find somewhere that's affordable, and cafepress seems a bit high.

I'm with cmspaz on this one. If you can nail a black shirt with grey/silver/white design then I'm totally in.

Spend at least 10 and email me with your proof of purchase. I'll email your choice of DVD or PS3 bluray for free. Only 50 copies of each so...

Saw the video. LOVE every bit of it. Almost jizzed when I saw the R33 at the end ( Not to mention the Celica GT-Four ).

While I have no interest in tuners, garages or any of the cars in the flick, it's impossible to deny your film making abilities. Great job, I was completely impressed.
