Having just seen the first episode, I think I'm really going to love this series. It reminds me a little bit of Nichijou, but I really don't feel comfortable making that comparison since Nichijou is so very much in a league of its own, comedically. Still, this is really great. I do love me some absurdist humour.

I put it in the same class as Ikamusume. It's pure, honest humor. It's not as insane as Nichijou even if it has some ridiculousness. It doesn't go as far as Nichijou, which is why I feel good comparing it to Ikamusume. If you can believe a squid girl from the sea, then a girl inventing a snowball cannon on the spot shouldn't be too hard to pull off. Also, it should be noted that I classify this show as 'diabetes.' It is so disgustingly sickeningly sweet that you're sure to catch the 'beetus from it. Tsumiki is adorable. Hnnnnng. Also, the OP theme is done by ARM, who old-time IDW Radio listeners will know as the man in IOSYS responsible for "Marisa stole the precious thing" and "O-OVERDRI-DRIVE." Are you interested in watching this series yet? You should be. Go get yourself a huge helping of diabetes and call me in the morning.

Skipping to the lastest released episode even though I havn't really watched some of the previous ones yet and stuff like that lol Meh, not like there's any real continuity between them anyway and it's one of those shows that you can get away with that kind of stuff haha Just a really cute and heart-warming show to watch. It's not as laugh out loud funny as a lot of the other shows are, but it still does have it's moment and the lovely dovey puppy dog romance between Tsumiki and Io is cute to watch as well. Speaking of Io though, for such an antisocial main character he sure is pretty damn smooth with the ladies. Total stud. |

He doesn't seem so antisocial to me. He's got the same kind of personality as Ryosuke Takahashi, I think. Coincidentally, he's popular with the opposite sex, too.
