i actually prefer using FR cars to play happo than using FF.
FR are more capable of faster timings in happo in a certain way, if not for the home course advantage of the EK9 & DC2.

well i did...watched all ID anime battles that any FF cars were involved...but surprsingly none of them clearly depicts how FFs go pass a corner to me...

for real life videos FFs mostly appear in pro circuits so they do grip racing... blink.gif

ah..

the fastest way to drive.. is grip. whats why F1 cars are doing it. but that is for Time Attack...

in Battles though.. your opponent can grip or drift faster than you if he wants to by sacrificing a bit of his 'tire'... so to keep it full grip... all the time... will be... risky. shifty2.gif

In ID5 doesn't mean necessarily have to drift even though it's about drift/racing car game and in ID5, drifting too much will resulting losing speed.

but...no drift --> no fun! laugh.gif

still i don't think i made the wrong decision to go for EK9...grip driving emphasizes on lines too so i think just that itself is a valuable lesson for me

too much drifting --> lose more speed...that i have no idea. something new for me. and to take note of when i go against other players. hehe. shifty2.gif

Keiichi Tsuchiya once said this "drifting isn't the fastest way of driving but is the most exciting" He even said grip is actually faster tongue.gif

Perhaps you should try to go for lining first.

Now I am seriously considering getting a EK9 next. But FTing Supra is priority.

yes yes! join the FF players! and share your experience! grin2.gif

looks like i will do more grip than drfit...i have confirmed more or less with myself grip is better for FFs...drifts will swing the car out.

i think... DC2 has more than outgrown is V2 King Car reputation.

Even better for fishing actually... some ppl actually would want to battle kill a DC2 more cos they think that its driven by some nut from ver2 times who think that car is still king. laugh.gif

@-ShinRei-

from what i experienced from street stage (quite different but IMO) DC2 is very good for uphill battles...plus again good aceleration. but when it goes downhill its cornering is a little different

@Heron

haha FD is very popular now...i am also quite negative on trying out all rounder cars e.g. AE86 grin2.gif

@Stormfox: I still tend to avoid them like the plague...lol.

@Shinrei: All rounder cars are fine...it is when they go into the 'I will own your car no matter what' territory that it becomes a nightmare to idiotic players like me who drives only what he wants and not how the metagame is like.

I still remember how in ID4 v1.2 when Levin was only behind the Trueno in terms of being fast. That scared me a little. But I guess there's always time for some cars to shine huh?
