| On the anime Initial D (first stage) Takumi Fujiwara was in his car Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno delivering tofu from their home to a hotel at the top of the Akina Mountain everyday. What is the name of that hotel that he delivered at the top of Akina Mountain? |

| On the first stage of the anime Initial D I've remembered that Takumi Fujiwara, Itsuki Takeuchi, Kouichirou Iketani & Kenji went swimming with Mako Satou & Sayuki. On that scene Takumi Fujiwara went on the water slide with Sayuki he said to her "slow down" then Takumi said to himself "I feel her breasts moving behind my neck then an image of Mogi came in & she started to stick her tongue out. Why did she stick her tongue out for? |

| on the first stage of the anime Initial D Kouichirou Iketani & his friends (Takumi Fujiwara & Itsuki Takeuchi) including his team the speedstars was heading to Mt. Akina then when Kouichirou Iketani was driving fast on the uphill on Mt. Akina Takumi Fujiwara was scared & freak out. The one thing I don't understand is why Takumi Fujiwara was scared & freak out for if he knows how do drive on Mt. Akina himself? |

| Because Iketani's drift technique was totally out of control and not the way Takumi tackles Akina. Where Takumi's driving is very smooth and ridiculously fast, Iketani was letting the rear of his car shoot out too far, and it must've scared Takumi that he had so little control over his car. Alex |

| On the first stage Kouichirou Iketani was asking Takumi Fujiwara to give him a ride & drive hard on Mt. Akina so Kouichirou Iketani can steal his technique then all of a sudden he started getting scared & then he freak out then he started to pass out then Itsuki Takeuchi said "ahhhhhhh I witnessed the incident! On frightening Mt. Akina downhill where a scream echoes... ...Kouichirou Iketani in the third corner... ...passing out! then there another scene where Kouichirou Iketani wanted Takumi Fujiwara to give him another ride & drive hard on Mt. Akina but Kouichirou Iketani wanted Takumi Fujiwara to drive hard on Mt. Akina in Kouichirou Iketani's car (Nissan Silvia S13) then when Takumi Fujiwara started to do a drift he started to get scared & freak out. Why did Kouichirou Iketani started to get scared for? |

| He got scared for the same reasons as when he passed out in Takumi's 86. He had no idea that corners could be taken at speeds like that. The second run, he was even surprised that his car could go as fast as Takumi was pushing it. It's kind of like he's unlocking or showing Iketani the potential of his car, making him realize that he was nowhere close to driving it as fast as it could go. Alex |

| On the first stage of the anime Initial D there's a couple of scenes where several cars doesn't even have any liscense plates at all. But then on the 2nd stage of the anine Initial D the cars have liscense plates already. The only thing I don't understand is How come the 2st stage of the anime Initial D have liscense plates on the cars but not the first stage? |

| in 1st stage the cg wasnt that good so they couldnt put that much detail, then in 2nd stage the cg got better so they could put more details |

As they were talking about buying it from the Fujiwara Tofu shop, ganmodoki is a Japanese term for tofu mixed with yam, egg white and other ingredients and fried. It is also known as hirousu or hiryozu. Don't know what it tastes like though! |

Actually my last post I said that Kouichirou Iketani was sooooo scared & freaked out when he told Takumi Fujiwara to do a drift on Kouichirou Iketani's car (Nissan Silvia S13) he didn't passed out on the second time. |

| I didn't say he passed out on the second run, I said he got scared again but it was also more of a surprise since he was concious for the entire mountain run this time. If anything he walked away from the experience knowing how much of a higher skilled driver Takumi is over everyone else on the Speedstars. Alex |

I have 2 questions to ask 1. Why did Kenji started to pinch Itsuki Takeuchi's face for? 2. Why did Itsuki Takeuchi started to pinch Takumi Fujiwara's face for? |

| There's one more thing I forgot to mention on the first stage there's a scene where Takeshi Nakazato was in his car Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 he was trying to flash his lights at Ryousuke Takahashi's car (Mazda RX-7 FC3S ) so Ryousuke decided to test Takeshi Nakazato's car (Nissan Skyline GT-R R32) Ryousuke wanted pull over to the side of the road so Takeshi Nakazato followed him as well. Ryousuke Takahashi said to him "Takeshi Nakazato drove in Nissan Silvia S13." There's a flashback scene where Takeshi Nakazato was driving in Nissan Silvia S13 long time ago & he was trying to overtake the car infront of him but he can't. I have 3 questions to ask 1. What is the name of that car that is infront of Takeshi Nakazato's car (Nissan Silvia S13)? 2. Who was driving that car infront of Takeshi Nakazato? 3. What happend to his orginal car (Nissan Silvia S13) that he drove before? |

| When I first started to watch the anime Initial D (first stage) there's a scene where every street racers team were challenging Takumi Fujiwara & his car Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno. When I first started to watch it he kinda reminded me of one person... ...you know Masaharu Morimoto from the T.V. show Iron Chef (orginal) from the Food Network also when street racers team like the RedSuns, the NightKids, Impact Blue, the Emperor team & a couple regular street racers like Wataru Akiyama & Kai Kogashiwa from the second stage of the anime Initial D (the second stage) they also reminded me of the Ota's Party of Heaven and Earth along with there boss Ota Tadamichi including the advisor Kandagawa Toshiro from the T.V. show Iron Chef (orginal) from the Food Network as well. |

| a no counter drift is when the driver doesn't counter steer when exiting the curve (the name say it all), well depending on the corner you sometimes dont need to counter steer, it doesnt do anything ... |

| I'm just going to play devil's advocate here... What if teknoman's asking these questions just to stimulate conversation of Initial D? That's the only explanation I can think of, since I think it's moot or even ludicrous to look into the series with that much detail and ask questions that can be answered fairly easily just by watching the anime and paying a decent amount of attention. To be frank, I'd much rather clarify any overlooked details that an Initial D fan might not've understood or missed than spending 6+ pages or however long those multiple previous threads were about FF drifting, or impossibility thereof. Just my $0.02, and a POSSIBLE explanation to some of these questions. If I'm wrong, my only other explanation is that teknoman is a narcoleptic, and just falls asleep all the time while watching animes. Alex |

| Question: What are the pros and cons for rotary engines? This should be a bit legitimate since I never saw the whole series but I did see most of it, yet I still can't tell the difference other then some turbine stuff and the noise. |

| more Pros: Easy to tune, and cheap (compared to other engines). Just make sure it has fuelling. Small size Sounds cool Cons: It uses even more fuel if tuned Engines need rebuilding more often than pistons as the rotor tips wear |

| i dont know were your from, but were Iam from its a little difficult to find a mechanic that will fix a rotary engine and actually know what your doing. If i ever owned a car with a rotary, I whouldn't take my car to just anyone it whould have to be someone i knew and trust(which is almost impossible to find down here for rotarys) |

| those are what sucks the most about rotaries... breaks down more often while not much mechanics know how to fix them... so i'm thinking of learning the schematics for a rotary so i could fix it myself in case it gets broken [when i get an FD ]the pros that i know of have already been mentioned... i think  |

| pros: impressive performance in hi rev (4k-7k) it wins in most of the races in 80's when it first introduced. cons: produce too much pollutant.. OPEC forsee this problem and urged Mazda to overcome this prob in 80's. Mazda did it but with the sacrifice of the engine performance. anyhow.. u won't get much speed when ur rev is below 3k like normal cars. as Bunta boy said.. the engine maintenance might burn a hole in ur poocket. Overall: Fine good looking car with impressive performance, u know u want 1 too |

| During Road Racing battle between Mako Satou & Takumi Fujiwara on Mt. Usui Sayuki was always helping her navigate Mt. Usui. I have 2 questions to ask 1. I seen Mako Satou driving technique that we want but less of Sayuki driving a car. It seems to me that we won't be able to see her drive a car (Nissan Sil-80) at all especially on all the Initial D stage total bummer dudes. Do you think Sayuki deserved to drive a car (Nissan Sil-80) on Mt. Usui? & Why? 2. On Initial D I seen a lot of Road Racing team like the speedstars, the Redsuns, the Night Kids, the Emperor (from second stage) & many others can drive the corners on the Mountain passes without a navigator. The one thing I don't understand is How come all the Road Racing team like the speedstars, the Redsuns, the Night Kids, the Emperor (from second stage) & many others were able to drive without a navigator but not Impact Blue (Mako Satou & Sayuki)? |

| Not sure what you meant for the first question, but the second question is rather easy to answer. That Sil-80 needs a navigator because then Mako doesn't have to look at the conditions of the road, she can concentrate on drifting and the car, that means she can drive faster than without a navigator. It's one of an advantage of having a navigator. |

well mazda fixed the problem even more now by having 2 side ports instead of just 1, now they have a fuel efficient rotary with good preformance, and it passes california emmision laws(yay ), they call it the "Renesis" |

| teknoman : take an example ...rally, if your drive your evo6 on dirt, you will need all your concentration to drive the car correctly saying that you will need a navigator to help you out...whitout those navigators rally drivers would have a hard time 2 things would happen : rally would be less exiting bcuz the driver would drive slower OR rally drivers would keep the same pace but kill themselves ! |

As someone that drives a 1985 RX-7 daily(well just summers now), a Rotary engine does NOT break down more than a piston engine. I'm currently ticking along at about 130,000miles. I am the 2nd owner of the car and no major engine work has been done. Anything that has been done was done by me. You are very right about mechanics not knowing how to fix them, I wouldnt even let a Mazda Mechanic touch my car, so I do everything. All the Rotary Mazda guys all moved on to there own private shops. Only dificulties I've had with the car were, gas tank rusted from inside out, replaced. Coolant passages that run through the intake manifold started leaking, 6 bolts to remove intake, replace gasket and 2 rubber o-rings. Cost about, about $25 because mazdatrix.com has a minimum $25 credit card purchase order so I bought some other rotary paraphanalia. Just noticed you mentioned the FD, ok those do break down often, or at least the early ones did. After they stopped importing them, Mazda was able to get them to be reliable. So......... cool messageboard, I love Initial D, and scarely enough I made up the name SunRedRX7 before even seeing it, as SunRed was my abreviation for Sun Rise Red, the color of my car. Later |

| Compared to every other male character in the series, Itsuki is actually a bit ahead. Takumi only has Mogi, Iketani has Mako (well, for a short while), Itsuki has dated Mogi's friend (bombed) and had a little something with Kasumi (she only wanted him as a friend). Takeshi has a crush on Sayuki (but she doesn't know it and wouldn't likely fall for him), and the rest fall into the 'lonely driver' class. |

That's true, but I haven't seen them interact with any girls, groupies or no. Plus, Itsuki at least has the testicular fortitude to just rely on the old-fashioned method of asking individual girls out (and possibly suffering rejection). For some odd reason, the Takahashi brothers remind of Soma Yuki from Fruits Basket. I think that he'll turn into one of the Juunishi (12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac) when he's embraced by a girl. |

I keep remembering the quote Ryosuke has in my brain when he said to Keisuke in the beginning and end of Stage one. "It's amazing to see that your keeping up with me so closely without thinking. If you apply your technical knowledge to your driving skills...then it'd be quite impressive" "There is only two people I know can succeed me as a driver...You and *looks at the incoming 86* It'd be interesting to see the outcome of Keisuke vrs Ryosuke. Hehe.... nearly forgot about Mr. Pink. If he did hit it off with Mako (assuming he accepted her decision to continue street racing), they would be known as Imapact Blue and Gay Pink. Also, Shingo is a childhood friend of Sayuki, but since there's no heat there, that doesn't count. Takeshi and Sayuki - too much aggro from both of them to want to stay together. |

| It's just his personality. You see, in the anime, Takumi hardly show any expression on his face. When he thinks, he's totally into his world, shows lack of interest in everything. That's Takumi. Would let your older cousin hang up on your friend? & Why? Then in the year 2001-2002 my mother wanted me to record one of her favorite movies on T.V. when I was recording it then sure enough it was a friend of mine who was calling me on the phone again we chat a lot but I accidently forgot to record one of my mom's movies on T.V. like he's calling me in the wrong time in the wrong place I'm glad that my mom didn't yell at me. If it's a friend and if I'm doing something with two hands (use your imagination), I tell him/her to call back later (or I call him/her). If it's a friend and I'm doing something with one hand (again use your imagination) and doesn't require much concentration, I talk to them, but only for a little while. If it's a telemarketeer, I either tell them to eff-off, or if I'm sufficiently PO'd, I play with them awhile then suddenly hang up on them. It it's someone who claims that I've won a bazillion dollars from the lottery I entered, I drop everything and dance like a crazy man. However, if it turns out to be a wrong number, I have a seizure and die. If I hear heavy breathing on the phone, I breathe and moan in harmony. If it's a female (a real one), I immediately ascertain based on the limited voice information whether she is 'hot' or not, and if she is, drop everything I do and act like a desperate goof to try to get her to go out with me. If it sounds like Belldandy, I'll agree to having my own personal goddess in my own dilapidated house. Anyway, as you can see, it depends on who's calling and what I'm doing (or not). |

| About that bad drawing comment, I think that the artist underdrew to make the cars stand out and as the seris got more popular, he drew the girls worse, because everyone likes grils and he wanted you to pay more attention to the cars. Yep he can't just be a bad drewer. And alot of fan fics have the Takahashi brothers as being gay, with is really werid, especily the ones where they are gay with each other or something. |

That's an interesting and valid comment about underdrawing characters to shift focus to the cars. Personally, I didn't find the character designs to be at all deficient, but appropriate to the series. I would not have considered Initial D to be an engaging series if it they populated the series completely with bishounens. As far as fanfics go, there will always be a niche genre for yaoi/shonen-ai stories. |

| I will say though that in spite of the questionable and unappealing subject matter of these Doujiinshis, they actually have some pretty kickass art for some easily rivalling Shigeno's character designs. Ever seen Keisuke and Ryousuke in CLAMP CCS style glory... amazing. .... but then, a few pictures down the road, you see Keisuke posing in a nurse's uniform, or posing in front of his FD in tight looking denim shorts with a gay tanktop looking seductively at you then you go  .Anyway, you can go here to check it out for yourselves. |

| 1. I'd say no for the simple reason that Takumi and Sayuki haven't even seen each other again after the gathering at the waterpark. Additionally, in 3rd Stage, Natsuki moves to Tokyo, so she isn't even around anymore. 2. I'd say Takumi would still go with Natsuki, but like I said, she's in Tokyo. |

Maybe teknoman is an Initial D insider and he's giving away the plot points by saying there will be a love triangle between 2 Takumi's and a Mogi (sounds like a crappy love comedy to me). Imagine that, two Takumi's battling (in two hachirokus - one white one for the normal Takumi and a reverse-coloured black one for the Bizarro Takumi) for the love of an emotionally messed-up young woman who sells sexual favours for cash. |
