I'm currently watching evangelion. Pondering starting another thread for best eva girl.

I remember that watching it in the past, I always thought shinji was a huge sissy. This time through, tho, I think he's alright.

Actually, this time through, I'm noticing so many things I didn't remember noticing before. It's actually a very good series. I think it's like darling in the franxx, except maybe eva was intentional. The series actually progresses pretty well until episode 13, aka the halfway point. At this point, things start falling apart. But then, looking back, there were signs of stress building up throughout. Things that were minor but have added up. It's interesting. I've enjoyed the 14 episodes so far even tho I remember how it ends. I want to see where the breaking point was.

The reboot of Evangelion is going to be one of those "I've always wanted to watch that but I can never arse myself to actually do so" moments.

I want to know what the Evangelion experience is like when it's not burdened with crippling depression.

You're wrong. Evangelion is surprisingly coherent. Either I'm drunnk, depressed, need a women, smart, or mature...

Give it a shot if you're 30+. Otherwise, wait until. It's really weird, because I've watched it 3 times, and each time has given me a different impression, albeit each time was years apart from the previous time. As much as I hate to admit it, experience comes with time, and with time, things to make more sense.

Ironically, everything was set in 2015... and I am around the same age as Misato... who was my waifu befoire waifu was a thing. so... I can't say I'm too depressed from everything. Then again, I really liked Rei... I'm not pedo... for real... at least not a bear... eh, pear?

I have been binge watching Tokyo Ghoul. Have exams right after the new year but i'm just hooked to them. The storyline, characters & the soudtracks are just amazing. It's a little bit too gory for a person like me but i got used to it in the first season anyways. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't seen it yet

I don't understand why alinarodriguez was warned. Posts seem legit. Or spambots have reached sentience.

Anyways, I've finished Evangelion, and have moved on to Naturo. Re-watching this after 15+ years... I've rewatched the first Zabuza arc before, maybe 5 years ago or so. But, going past that to the Chuunin exam, I have realized my memory is really bad. I've forgotten all but the most important parts.

I'm finally getting around to a curiosity that I've had for a long time, and I'm getting into the Fate series. Just finished watching Fate/stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, and I'm finding myself enjoying this more than I thought I would.

Even though I know the original series is a route adaptation, I skipped over it and just went with the shinier model, just to get the gist of it all. Maybe one day if I'm bored I'll give it a watch, though I'm really picky with how I spend my time watching anime anymore.

Finally started watching Ben-To a few weeks ago, haven't sat down to watch it since - we'll see how many years of telling myself to watch another episode it'll take to finish it.

i havent found too many series that stand out this season but the series, YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World is quickly climbing the list of series to watch on my books.

i think im at 4 series only: Atack on titan, we never learn (inferior to the quintessetial quintuplets IMO), YU-NO, midnight occult civil servants (havent started it yet...)

Third season of AoT sadly ended but finally there was some explanation of the existence of titans and the isolated kingdom. Next season will probably be aired only next year, I guess. pinch2.gif

Ep 1 was pretty good, I'll keep watching it until it gets boring (like AoT).

I've been watching How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift. I find it surprisingly informative and I've incorporated a few of its teachings into my workout routine.

I'm starting to re-watch Yu Yu Hakusho. This would make it the 2nd time I've watched it. The Dark Tournament was my favorite arc, but the earlier episodes were great too.

I just finished Baki on Netflix. It's a lot different than the first one but the story line was as silly as before. I actually enjoyed it.
