Ignore Member Function?

Over on another board I'm on there is the ability to set specific members to ignore, reducing their posts to little more than a status bar stating that the post was ignored. Since we already have the ability to block PMs on a per-member basis I was wondering if a function to make posts invisible on a per-member basis would be possible as well.

I never saw this post before, but now I did.

This would be an interesting feature. Several other boards I am on have this as well.

Can you show me a screenshot of how the posts can truncated into a message? It'll give me some idea on how to implement it. Otherwise, I'll just make up my own.

The ignored posts basically show up as a normal post, but instead of the post body containing the actual post, it shows up as :

QUOTE (Example)

"This message is not visible because you have the poster on ignore"

Or something along those lines.
