I'm assuming Kyoto Animation will be involved somehow since they've done almost all of Key's works over the past few years. Source: Key's Angel Beats TV anime green lit |

Looking at the teaser visual image makes me think of KyoAni, anyway I think it would be best this goes to Kyoto Animation as well seeing that they've done most of key's works. Gonna have to play the prick and call you out on this Bozz. Angel Beats is actually just an anime atm, no word of a visual novel or a game yet though =P Here's a slight synopsis taken from the Canned Dogs blog

One of my friends managed to spoil the damn thing for me though, luckily it went into the goldfish memory bank and i don't remember jack squat of what was said haha Another 4-koma seems fitting, they certainly do know how to make em entertaining EDIT: Looks likes it's going to be a one off OVA. I wonder what they have install after this. This post has been edited by bROCKoLEE on Sep 23 2010, 07:03 AM |

The funny thing is that K-On, which isn't a KyoAni-original, sold extremely well but a series that is an original from KyoAni, Munto, sold quite poorly. |

But I'm pretty sure not all of the "moe shows" out there would sell well based on that one factor alone, so they (KyoAni) are doing something right at the very least. Most of their shows are hardly original works and the only one that ever was, pretty much bombed lol. They seem to adapt current existing works and stories with great mastery, but when asked to do one of their own, they crumble like peanuts lol. |

We'll see what they make of this, though it looks like they've found a certain comfort zone in making comedy/gag shows. |

Apparently the OVA is being titled as episode 0 so it looks like there could be a possible TV series after this me thinks. I also take back what i said about the manga looking rather horrid. It seems like they only get horrid when they go into that 'exaggeration mode' (for a lack of better term that i can't come up with atm lol =P). |

My bad! haha =P Apparently the FMP novels have finished now so i hope we'd be able to get another season of that sometime soon. Wishful thinking never hurt right? :3 |
