I love whole culture surrounding Japans car scene, exotic feel to it because it's "over there" and blah blah blah, and I do listen a lot of Yuzo's music and some eurobeat...

But currently, I'm working and your radio is playing some Nintendo sounding music...girl singing sounding like she's maybe 9 years old...

I feel like pedo champ but I can't tune out

Dear lord...

I played a few tracks like this last night on my radio show. It's remixes (8-bit remixes, as the stream title says) of songs from the Idol-training game IDOLM@STER.

I can't turn it off either... sounds like whoever it is has all the soundtracks and is just playing them straight. I'm thinking of building gunpla or something while listening. happy.gif

Whoever is playing it, awesome job! thumbsup.gif

Never played the game, but the soundtrack sounds good (and 8-bit kicks ass anyway).

Is this really the music that can be heard on some regular Japan TV/radio station on a average monday morning or afternoon?

Do they actually listen to this and do their daily chores with this in the background?

Are we shure that there aren't some few million Sega/Konami replicant robots there operating ? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

No, and no. I think you're really misguided about Japanese culture; while Otaku and Moé are starting to move closer and closer to being 'acceptable' over there, it's still a 'cult' sort of thing, so I don't think there are any radio stations over there broadcasting IDOLM@STER music. Though you could probably hear some if you walked through the streets of Akihabara in Tokyo, among other things.

OK thanks for the info, I'm just checking biggrin.gif

And I'm bit$#@ing about it here - but still listening.

This is some mind controlling music. If I understood lyrics I'm shure some subliminal messages could be sent via this music.

This is the evilest mass controlling thing I've ever stumbled upon biggrin.gif

It was around midnight (pacific standard) last night. Someone was on playing Hatsune Miku music, but then they got off and got back on and played every single 8-Bit IDOLM@STER album nonstop. It was two hours of ridiculous.
