Then, eventually, Carnival Phantasm, especially if you've watched other Type-Moon based animes. biggrin.gif

That 1...people have to go through all the other series to understand most of the jokes for Carnival Phantasm. Need to know Hollow Ataraxia to know who Caren is, Saber Alter's preference of food, the origin of Kaleido Ruby, and how the servents would prefer to spend the everyday lives. (Just to name a few things that Carnival makes fun of) This isn't even including the stories from Tsukihime/Melty Blood.

The concept behind the Fate series is good. I'm just not a big fan of how it was executed.

If you want to watch something good since 2010, check out Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I also have a small collection of anime movies and series if you'd like to check them out.

Yeah, you'll probably love F/SN. I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet, honestly. I forget, when did it come out?

I felt the same way about the series. I like the series it after watching the anime, but felt that it ended kind of "half-assed" with a crap ton of questions unanswered. After going through the visual novel, however, the entire story made sense and became 1 of my top 3 series.

Visual Novel/Series: 2004
Anime: 2006

Yeah, that's probably why I couldn't get into it. After watching people play Katawa Shoujo, I don't think I could get into visual novels in general. It's like a Choose Your Own Adventure novel, with the exception that you have to read chapters of text between decisions.

The BD/DVD specials for Fate/Zero attempt to explain a lot of the left out details about the grail war and all that stuff. "Einzbern Consultation Room" are what they're called. Fate/Zero is also just a novel as opposed to a Visual Novel game like Fate/Stay Night was, much easier to handle.

EDIT:

Ep #22

SPOILER
