No way to transfer card data if your area has offline machines...

Inside the service menu there's an option to Restore/transfer card data but I believe that is used in the event something went wrong with an actual renewal that is going on at an online machine...

Nope, your card is aesthetically and permanently screwed AXEL smile.gif Just don't bend the chip inside the card. I don't understand why they just couldn't set an option for the data to be completely extracted from the card and held by system memory and replaced onto another blank card. Seems easy to me. Or how about USB instead of cards wink2.gif I guess they still want to make money

yes and no. the maximum tune 3, 3dx, and dx+ all have an option to transfer card data to a new one without a clone copy. transfered card becomes invalid just like id3 cards. i just want my baby to look new again but looks like im royally f'ed on that one pinch2.gif

There is actually a way to transfer your data into a new card if I'm not mistaken.

Just a couple of days ago I was at the arcade and they turned off the machines with a master switch during their closing time while my card was still having data written onto it during the ejection phase.

Guess what, when I went back the 2nd day to play, there was an error message and a contact the technicians description in Japanese on the screen and I had to send my card in for the arcade technicians to reload the information.

They gave me a new card that had ALL the data (3 full tunes + TA timings) in it without the printings.

Here's a shot of my *new* Ver EXP alongside my VER EXP 2.0 card...

I thought it looked a little bland and decided to add some drawings onto it...

I believe in your case your data was in the machine memory, which happens when a save failed or a renew failed....

In this case his card is just stuck at 11 plays (as per offline ver)...unless he purposely errors his card (I wouldn't risk it IMO...), it's not possible - and it involves a lot of hassle too.
