You guys sure? I need to check this out.
Edit: ya you guys must be used to a bad quality version or something. I dont see any problems with the height and width.

O I see, just use Phooshop to paste your screen shots. To take a picture of your whole screen you have to press "print sreecn" then paste it in a program like PS or Paint.

Edit: wait a sec. Why are you asking about that in here. If it doesnt have to do with torrents or the movie, then why are you asking about it here. Not to be rude. Whats your problem with the aspect ratio?

There. I don't think the characters are supposed to look that thin.

I dont see a real problem. Are you sure, lemme look at my dvd of the movie. Does anyone else see a problem?

Edit: I have check from my original DVD and its the same. Your aspect ratio is correct. Maybe your just not used to the Initial D movie style that they used.

*shrug*

I did a bit of looking and it seems like the import dvd got switched from a 16:9 to a 4:3.

http://www.discountanimedvd.com/detail.asp?dvdno=1609 That's the import special edition and it's in 4:3

http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/1051.php That's the Japanese one and it's 16:9, which is the original ratio.

But whatever, watching this made me appreciate third stage a lot more. The CG is so awesome for the snow battle, but all i saw was a lot of blur on the other rips.

Hmm, didn't notice this last time. Seems they're doing shameless self-promotion with Natsuki selling ID videos at the end tongue.gif

Looks Good to me, much, much better then the 320mb version I had before, thanks for ripping it. I just got home after being away for a couple days and this was done. I did notice that there seemed to be a lot of lines going through everything when there was a lot of movement. It doesn't really take away from this too much, but I was wondering if everyone else had this happening. Or if this is common-place in higher quality rips. OR, it could bt that this computer just sucks, which is not unlikely.

Here is an example...

On another note, I will continue to help distribute this file. Whoo, 2.909 share ratio.

When you pause it not everything will be perfect. If it was a real dvd its would look perfect paused. This is a rip, not every thiing is perfect.

No worries. I'm not saying it is a bad rip or anything. It is miles beyond the other one I had. I was just wondering; I was noticing the lines while not paused too, thats how I noticed it to begin with and if it was just something lost in the ripping progress or something. This is a good rip either way.

Like I said, nothing can be done with those scanlines unless you deinterlace the whole video. Refer to my other post - https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=62...ndpost&p=128821

thanks
the quality is somewhat good. there are scanlines noticeable, i hope that takumi trueno will deinterlace future releases smile.gif
i dont know that much about compressing videos, but it would be great if u can ask perry how he ripped the 350z shock dvd.
1 hour and 40 minutes video *may* be able to get compressed to around 1 gb instead of 1.75gb.
again, i dunno much about compressing and ripping so dont flame me

Err, I thought that there were at least 3 seeds for this. For sure that that one seed must be mine...

.274 means that you havent helped seed much at all. When you are seeding 1.0 or more it will be greatly appreciated. Seeding .274 means that you have only help seed that percent of the whole file.

O well if you just started downloading then I dont expect you to seed or upload yet. I mean like what do you have to seed/upload anyways. You havent downloaded that much, when you finish downloading the file then you can upload till you have the 1:1 ratio. Im glad to see your effort to help out. Thank You.
