Auto is less to think about, but manual is slightly faster as stated. It was mention you can contro lthe car better for turn you need to downshift, id ike to point out you can still downshift a gear with automatic. I say go with manual its only slightly better really, but in this game every bit counts i guess. |

Request Title - PM Mods Group: Members Posts: 397 Member No.: 1,699 Joined: Apr 25th 2004 Location: Update Profile | IMO I really hate AT I played my old GC8V again today, it was my first car so it was AT. Before taking turns I downshifted as usuall, but somehow it downshifted twice (e.g 5th to 3rd) and I ended up raping the inside wall. Moreover in 4th it upshifted too early. I want MT, still 20 to go till the next inspection |

Well I don't understand, but that what actually happened, before taking turns I downshifted once then it downshifted by itself and shortly it upshifted again. Oh well 28 plays to go... | ||

I used an automatic before but it wasn't my first car,I was just trying it out. The main thing that got on my nerves was the fact when your RPM's drop it sometimes lags and take too long for it to downshift. Manual just feels alot cooler (IMO) This post has been edited by Bishop on Jan 7 2006, 11:34 AM |
