Yeah, i noticed that.  Seems like it's back up now though.

On another note, I'm gonna try and get version 8 up and running for my sites soon, maybe a week or so.

Not in the right thread/forum, but please do Wangan5 as well please. smile.gif

Ops, my mistake of jumping the gun, please delete post.

I think you may have gotten the arrangement wrong from iro onwards, after Iro is hakone, tsukuba, sadamine, tsuchisaka, momiji, happogahara, nanamagari, nagao, tsubaki, akina snow. The time and rankings are correct, just the course arrangement is wrong.

Good car rankings reference as usual. Appreciate it.

I think some of the course data may be mismatched is that what SHINN was saying?) with the names, I checked out Nagao DH and I'm sure it's not what the data is showing. I think Nagao's may be switched with Sadamine (Altezza and Levin are leading it) to give one example.

Other than that, it's the same cool interface as always. It's been mentioned before, but it's really useful for tabulating specific courses/cars.

Again, thanks for doing this. This is awesome.

Ah, thanks. I didn't even bother checking the course order. I figured it was the same as version 7. I'll have that fixed in a couple hours.

Edit: Well, that didn't take too long. Should be fixed now. Let me know if there are any more issues happy.gif

Unfortunately, the source site (http://www.rp-taki.com/project-chiba/) is down right now. In the coming week, I'll add some checks to those sites so that they will continue to be up even if the source site is down.

So it looks like the source site (http://www.rp-taki.com/~rp-taki/webapps/index.rpt) has been down for over a week. I'm going to be modifying my site to not rely www.rp-taki.com and just scrape the official rankings site. I'll be working on that for the next few days.

So I've gotten my version8 site back up and running. It doesn't auto-update yet, but it will in the future.

Does anybody know if the official Version 7 rankings are still up anywhere? If so, I can get the version7 site up too.

Whoa, they finally brought back the ER34?

Dude, where were you this entire time? awesome.gif awesome.gif

That was announced a while ago man. Although...Round 1 doesn't have it unlocked yet, think it's a internet update...total BS in my opinion.

What do you think about the possibilities of SEGA bringing in an completely English version of IDAS8 EXP machines? For the North American market and others.

We did see the partly translated EXP IDAS8, compared to the fully translated Japanese one.

I guess it will be kinda cool to almost freeze to death, playing IDAS8 in an igloo arcade in Canada awesome.gif

Thanks dude! Version 7 site is back online now wink2.gif.

Also, Version 8 had just added the Evo 6, so the chart was a bit screwed up, but that's been fixed now.

New rankings site for Maximum Tune 5, if anyone plays that: http://idrankings.dyndns.org/wangan5/

MT5 doesn't have rankings for each and every course/car combination, so the times seen in gray are calculated estimated times.

Oh you're right, I forgot that MT has separate rankings for JP and Intl. I'll try to add those in soon.

Hey guys,

I've been working on incorporating the JP Wangan 5 rankings into my site, but I'm noticing there are quite a few differences in the car list between the Int'l and JP versions of the game. Can someone confirm these differences?

Cars in JP version only
BMW M3 CSL [E36]
BMW M1 [E26]
CORVETTE STING RAY [C2]
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT
Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6-16 EvolutionII

Cars in Int'l version only
M3 coupe [E92]
Z4 sDRIVE35is [E89]
SAVANNA GT [S124A]
GALANT VR-4 [E39A]
SKYLINE RS X [R30]
Rt35 (RUF)
SUBARU BRZ [ZC6]
TOYOYA 86 GT [ZN6]
SOARER 2.5GT-TWIN TURBO [JZZ30]

Also, are these two cars identical?
-CELICA XX 2800GT [MA61] (JP version)
-CELICA SUPRA [MA61L] (Int'l version)
