Unfortunately getting hold of the UK OST which was produced by Fuel seems near impossible.
Me and a few others over at imdb.com have been trying to get a hold of it with no luck. Some of us have tried emailing Fuel a bunch of times but they don't seem to reply for whatever reason sad.gif
All we can do is bombard them with emails until they make the soundtrack available by download or something.

I would like to request a title of the song, which is played when that punk guy in white evo appears for the first time in movie initial d drift racer (shitty chinese version). It sounds like pure bass line and electric treble. Actually it's not our beloved eurobeat at all, but please help me.

- OST is available for direct download here: http://makiii.multiply.com/music/item/1
but it's only 128 kbps, CBR stereo quality - kinda suxx. Though it's better than nothing.

- Theme songs by Jay Chou
"All The Way North" (Yi Lu Xiang Bei)
"Drifting" (Piao Yi)
are available for direct download here: http://evangeliene.net/mp3/jay/ (it's 192 kbps Stereo, so it's pretty fine)

A working torrent: htttp://www.bitenova.nl/tt/9y5w4 (it's perfect quality (320 kbps)...)

how to download from that site ar? I just have streamer

Okay, this is going to be hard to explain.

There is a music track from the Initial D live action movie where it starts off with some sort of Chinese tribal singing and its like a techno kind of song. It doesn't feature in the soundtrack for the movie and I have spent AGES trying to find it but with no luck.

If anyone has a clue as to what I'm ranting about, please help!

I am from the UK and from what I've been reading so far, there might be two different soundtracks. Sooo confusing.

I found a little sample of the track I'm looking for on Youtube!

The song starts at 0:29 (till 0:37) of the video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skk6na1JN14

So if anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately that is the UK soundtrack which doesn't seem to be available anywhere which is stupid as so many people want it.
I think the "Chinese tribal singing" is actually backwards Icelandic singing laugh.gif

I tried emailing the Fuel(The UK company who produced the Soundtrack) website a few times but no luck. And the UK initial D website is now down. Am sure it used to be http://www.initialduk.com which streamed samples of the songs. I believe the DJ who produced it is called "Nicholas Zart". And the owner or manager of Fuel is called Richie Warren. If you google them and look hard enough you might get lucky.

That's all the info I have and am still searching but no one seems to be able to find it. I went to a dirty sanchez show and was going to ask Dan Joyce if he knew how I could get a hold of it as he is friends with them all and did the audio commentary. But I didn't get to meet him.

If anyone gets lucky... happy.gif

Ah that's well unlucky mate but atleast you tried. Yeah Ive tried Nicholas Zart on google so many times but to no avail. crying2.gif

Backwards Icelandic you say...lol how on earth did u find that out?

I just bought the DVD supposedly with the UK soundtrack with it. If it does have the tracks I'll send them your way.

Its well annoying though; seeing as, like you said, LOADS of ppl want the soundtrack.

The UK DVD has an audio commentary, they talk about certain tracks etc and am sure they say that one is backwards Icelandic. Whatever it is, its sounds awesome!

Lets just hope someone gets a hold of it!

Man the special collector's edition sucked. They didn't even talk about the soundtrack. So annoyed.

Will we ever get to hear the UK soundtrack??!!

I've got some tunes I've ripped from the movie if you guys are interested.

A couple have been remixed to lengthen them etc.

Still working on the 'chanting' tune.

Well I need you e-mail add to send you the tunes.

Bare in mind I've only had time to remix the intro and rip the ending.

A bit busy at the moment but when I have time I'll do all the tracks of the movie.

The bass is really good aswell- my whole car was shaking and there is no compromise in clarity of the music.

The ending track has Takumi's voice right at the start-but I'll just pretend I intended to have it there seeing as he says "i'll join your racing team" fear2.gif

Songs are sounding good but I was wondering what program you used?
I have plenty of spare time and I'd happily make my own soundtrack and mixes for everyone here.

Been looking so hard for any info on the soundtrack but I don't see it happening.
