Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums > Version 5 General Discussion > So my Stock FD RS apparently outruns my tuned GC8

Long story short, I have a 4-3-7-4-3 GC8 that I regularly pull between 3' 19" to 3' 20" in Akina Downhill, and today I just did a 3' 19" 522 in a stock FD RS, smashing my GC8 Akina DH record by almost half a sec. Is this a sign I'm driving my Imprezza wrong, or is this a car performance issue?

I believe in this case it's both the way you drive each car and the way you tuned the GC8 as well. Base on my experience, u can't tune 1 column to the max and left the other hanging half way and expect the car to perform miraculously.
