From seeing massive changes at my company a couple of times, I don't think it matters whether they're adults or tweens. I don't feel bad for Lebon as he was a mod for a good long time, but I can see where he might be little sour. Casey

For some people, being a mod here was the crowning acheivement of their life to date. When that's taken away for no other reason than a change in ownership...yes, it's unfair and yes I can see why he's so sour about it. When my company changed ownership they replaced almost the entire senior staff just because they wanted their people in place. I would expect massive changes would've been made no matter who bought IDW.

If I'm not mistaken, Perry handed it over to Tessou, rather than sold it.

The specific amount was what caused a prolonged snarl in negotiations. I would have been admin in January, but Perry pressed me for a bit more cash before he was willing to budge. IDW is in good hands, and Perry is not gone, despite what some people are saying. The guy is in China right now, hence he is not posting or logging in. When he comes back, he will be the same intermittent poster/actioner that we all know. Whether or not he will be a bonafide co-admin or just an admin-CP-privileged member is still up in the air, as I will want to retain him for technical work. |

I think he's posted once or twice in the past few weeks. If I recall correctly, it was to wish our very own sideways happy birthday. I'm sure he'll announce when he's back stateside. |
