Because you play just to play. Not pushing yourself to get good times. If you put it that way nobody needs skills. Doesnt matter what you do and no matter what you play. If you dont have a goal, its just simply something to pass the time. But once you have a goal to attain, you start learnin techniques, you start to get skills needed to stabilize the car, proper PC points, proper speed control, learning inside line. THAT is what he means.

I played wangan earlier and I breezed through all story modes with just simple driving. I almost fell asleep.

Because you play just to tune your car to 820, not TA or anything else. XDD
BTW, what car are you driving?

Probably your car isn't straight enough, thus you need to PC twice.
Sometimes the anticipation to PC is just so high that players will straight after stomp the brake pedal right after exiting from a corner... laugh.gif

Exactly. Thats the point I wanted to convey to kyochan. You played just to play, so in fact, no "skills" were involved. Try reaching a goal and then you will see the hardships of the game. I remember some n00b who said ID4 was so easy coz he finished LOTS with one hand up to Myogi. Thats like SOOOOOOO a basis for a game to be easy... rolleyes.gif

I drive a Supra and an FD.

kyochan u hav to rber tat all idas versions need a certain lvl of skills n idv4 is a totally diff set of techniques fr all d previous versions ...

Penalty Cancel = PC is juz lik d effect of eraser n tst ... but PC requires us to used both our legs to work more than b4 ...

kenji i do noe PC requires oni one time when straighten d steering but some times d accuracy is so hard to measure tats y RB26 n some of us lik me PC twice ...

parts did make a difference in id3, but only at a really high level when WRs are at stake

and no, ID5 should not have parts that affect the game, cause it would mean every douchebag would have the exact same car with exact same mods only in diff colours.... wait scrap that

all in black

and that means there would be no fun in being an individual

Haha, thanks for giving me a 'power -dunk' to my head, Wolf grin2.gif May be, the skill becomes instinct, so I don't feel anything crying2.gif Ok, I will work a bit harder on this game grin2.gif

i was reading topics in ID3 forums and saw parts actually made a diff?!?!
Some adds accel while others give more stability etc.
I didnt 'hardcore' ID3 but nw i feel tempted to use my flimsy card to play=.=

ask razorsuke...he proved that they dont do shit when he was trying for iro reverse wet WR (#2 atm)
i even tried using different rims and spoilers when making my evo 4 vid...im not fast but it was still within 2 sec of mr without tst and i had a pretty big wall hit & i noticed didnt do anything to help the car at all, no changes in the way it ran

read this
QUOTE
Since people keep posting up threads about which cars they should get post it here if you have a question about different cars and tunes.

that is for help with the car or tune, some tunes do make a difference in v3 ie tune A on trueno gives you the racing engine or on the evo 3 it gives you misfire system

i don know that parts matter in ID3 coz i never play ID3 before...but i do hope that the next version of Id can effect the exterior tuning part...so it doesnt only require driving skill...but it requires the tuning skills too... laugh.gif

More work for the programmers since more tuning parts means more options... and judging from the amount of parts in idas4 its unlikely to happen... i just wish...

Well just remove the restrictions... ala
