What does 'AA' stand for anyway? I hope V5's physics are kept in V6 so that we don't have to learn all over again.

Do keep us updated. Am curious about tracks, cars and character additions (NSX? Z? Shinigami?).

WTF!? IDAS6 coming out already!? I hope at least Malaysia could at least get a pair of test units.

So it doesn't look like it's a literal 2 vs 2 (4 cars on the road at the same time 2 vs 2 ala Wangan). It's just one having a downhill, and one having an uphill battle...much like Project D in the anime/manga.

since u be at the location testing, can u post the trailer or a video of it so we can see the physics?

Highly impossible to make a video at the location testing. Unless if you could secretly record at there. Location testing are usually a 'no cameras allowed' zone . So, if you're lucky, there might be a vid or two about IDAS6.

Seeing the testing is around the corner...I don't expect to see the final ver of V6AA till at least Jan 2011 :/ so V5 is still good for now.

IDAS6? But..but..but... I still have so many things to try about ID5..! T_T''


Ah well, I hope ID5 data can be transferred, seeing that its still a jap based version. Wonder what cars will be out..

If 350Z is 1 of the new cars that will be included, I hope it dosen't become a commonly used car in IDAS6. I'm kinda bored of 350Z already. Getting too common.

most of us will be taking lots of pics and vids so no worry. but the tage battle is only availble on next thursday.

Aug 31 ~ Sep 1-> online battle available
Sept 2~ 5> Tag battle available.

weird, zone x says Aug 30 starts testing, maybe no online on the first day.

So what's different, in a nutshell?

the"AA" stands for double ACE, since there is 2vs2 battle or 2x race by mixing Downhill and uphill, similar like team battle, maybe that's what it meant by similar like keisuke/takumi.

All I know is we had better have card transfers this time. Otherwise it's just stupid to test it outside japan with EXP players. It's like you'd be goading them.

There's 70% chance we can transfer our card, since it will be connecting from Japan, HK,Singapore etc, so we can probably get the same Japanese ver. let us pray

Do you guys think there will be even the slightest possibility that IDAS6 will hit North America this time? cuz personally I didn't even get to see what IDAS5 looked like here in Canada...since IDAS3, it's pretty much been so dead. I wish this time SEGA would try to capture North American players as well.

with the way things sound, i have a feeling IDAS 6 won't even get here...

unless the people at Sega finally take off their eye masks and see that we here are just as serious as the rest of the world with keeping the IDAS legacy alive...

initial d 6 already? i just started initial d 5 lol. its probably gonna be same as initial d 5 but with the tag team mode and new cars and new courses?

indeed i am more interested about the latency problems..dunno if it would turn out to be a weird battle..hongkongers are looking forward to the online battle and I would spend much on these days,haha. Hopefully meeting with great Singapore and Japan players with great skills.
