Just wondering as to where do you guys take your opponents when you battle them? I take them to Akagi with my BNR34...though I'm still slow there...I think it's a very even course for all cars...i think And it's my favorite course |

I cant really choose one because it depends on which locals are playing when im there... A certain group of noobs play Akagi/Akina... The others play Irohazaka/Tsuchisaka... I just play cause its the only way i can get a battle these days... Even if the battle "favors" them... heheheh |

The Dozuki Master Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,688 Member No.: 20,372 Joined: Sep 21st 2006 Location: Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines | based on observations, i think most people choose akagi downhill (newbies, noobs, and pros alike) since it has a good rhythm of straightaways and tight corners... since the course is pretty wide, there is a good number of overtaking opportunities there... as for the non-bunta direction courses, it'll probably have to be tsuchisaka inbound (as for TA's, this is also probably the most frequently picked non-bunta course)... as for me, just to be on the safe side and to avoid being branded a fisher, i most frequently choose either usui ccw or akagi dh... The only Miata driver around Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,908 Member No.: 14,640 Joined: Nov 30th 2005 Location: Hicksville | Akina if they have an 86, (Which they always do) or Tsuchi if they have a car good at it and fish you... Other then that... akagi and Iro on occasion. Shomaru if they have start-up, but even then rarely, Usui is non-existent, and Happo I'd say is the least played course. Except by me This post has been edited by Cowman715 on Jun 21 2007, 11:24 AM |

Like this 1 kid I know has an Evo 4, he always plays Tsu and Akagi, has a '41 and '24 respectively but then his Usui is like a 2'58, his Akina is like 3'09, his happo is in the high 30s, etc. |

Most of my opponents would choose courses by full turning the wheel then press the start button after x seconds or until time expires. Other than that, they *fish* me on their favorite courses. I win most of the time. |

Request Title - PM Mods Group: Members Posts: 400 Member No.: 25,185 Joined: Jul 6th 2007 Location: Astigos Island | Tip for random course selection...(this is great for team battles who has random course system) Unless your arcade's Course Select Timer is not 20, this won't work... This method has been tried and tested by me and it had perfect results each and every time... Just before the Course Select Screen shows up (like when you press start after you insert your card) immediately turn the wheel fully to either left or right, and let the time run out... Based on this experiment, if you turned left, it must end on Tsuchisaka; right, then it must end in Usui. For other courses, it's hard to make the show up but it may take some perfect timing to pop up your preferred course... by my theory (and fast eye-to-counting reflexes) a full turn cycles the courses 3 times in 2 seconds (or the other way around i'm not sure because it has been a long time). From that, you can calculate/experiment on turning delays/shifts to make selection of your preferred course... But then you may just make the (damn) choice of your course without random selection... Hehehe Oh, sorry not to answer the question... Basically a slice of everything here... This post has been edited by brina&kyla on Jul 8 2007, 06:30 AM |

Heck, the new guys even select Akagi first before the other beginner tracks, which can only mean beginners are getting better, or they have WAY TOO MUCH confidence. |

As a noob (when I was just starting out), the first course I ever beat on LotS was Akagi... I got stuck on Shingo on Myogi and Mako & Sayuki on Usui, so I gave up and finished Akagi first.. I was thinking, wow, this KT guy is easy... This post has been edited by icedagger on Jul 10 2007, 03:26 AM | ||
