So from what I am getting at is that it's a 'literal' RPG with some dice elements which can determine what happens or what not? I still can't understand... Maybe a need a play a game first before I understand what the blazes a tabletop RPG is... |

You kids these days! before we all had these fancy electronic games, we played RPGs with paper, pencil, dice, and a pewter miniature! Anyways.... Me and buddies had online D&D sessions on roll20.net around last year. I thought it worked out great. I'll be inclined to join if its version 3.5 and the story isn't too stupid. I don't think you're the youngest on the boards considering that I was lurking back when I was in 8th grade, I'm sure there are still some peeps on here that were like me. and now I feel old..even though I'm still probably considered one of the younger members of the forums haha This post has been edited by Sensation! on Apr 29 2013, 06:50 AM |

Well I never had the chance to play these so called table top RPGs before. Seriously, I have never EVER heard of them before. No one in my school played them nor in my family. We never really did have to learn them...my family had some good electronic stuff when I was younger... | ||

It tends to be more of a cult thing, I've known of it for many years and only recently (within the last two or three years) did I actually try it for the first time. It's quite a bit of fun. OP: count me in, feel free to PM me for details. |
