You get used to modulating the throttle very quickly, trust me. If you keep going you'll need to use those skills on dry pavement too.

IDW Supremo Member Group: Advanced Members Posts: 870 Member No.: 38,019 Joined: Oct 24th 2011 Location: Update Profile | Hey sorry been a while since updates! Just did a 700km drive to Revelstoke BC on the stage 1 map. About 300km of the trip is going up a mountain and I averaged 7.5L/100km or about 33MPG for you 'Merican folks. Overall I am very happy with the power delivery now but am still planning on new OEM injectors and TGV deletes. Possibly new plugs and other maintenance items in the spring. I have some rust issues starting on the driver side 1/4 and above the windshield. Which I need to replace due to a huge crack from my trip here haha. I need some 18x8 wheels and also Bilstein HD struts. IDW help me pick out some rims!! |

Get that treated if you can, it seems like it's coming from the inside out, so start looking inside your trunk and fender liners. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |

Well the new shop Im working at has a restoration side where they have done tons of repair on VW beetles that are 50 years older then I am so I am not worried about the rust repair. Bought these: Legacy SpecB Revision A Bilsteins and springs The stiffest setup Subaru ever made from factory for my generation of Legacy. They need some TLC lucky for me my new shop also has a powder coating oven! This post has been edited by Lonely_Driver on Feb 16 2013, 10:04 PM

Thanks for speaking my thoughts, lol. I just can't see the Legacy GT being much more of a boy-racer than a touring wagon/sedan.

I'd daily one. Then again, I own an Evo, so I guess I'm solidifying your stereotype?

IDW Supremo Member Group: Advanced Members Posts: 870 Member No.: 38,019 Joined: Oct 24th 2011 Location: Update Profile | I can drive like a boy racer but not be noticed because station wagon I have to make a decision, luckily one of my girl friends can sew and said she'll fix up my rear seats for the time being so that will be put on the back burner. Priority for the wagon this year goes like this: -Try to balance SpecB rims to see if bent or not and purchase tires -Refinish my JDM SpecB struts, install new strut mounts, install, alighnment -Fix rusty 1/4 panel I am taking a pay cut starting next week, going to start as a VW mechanic so i'm not sure what all is going to happen this year but I will for sure have atleast one driving event with the new suspension. |

It's not much of a stereotype than a matter of taste and statistics.
