Shogakugan recently announced a bunch of new titles coming up in the 37th issue of Big Comic Spirits, and among the titles announced is this.
QUOTE
Michiharu Kusunoki will begin Ginkai no Speed Star, which Shogakukan's website describes as "the final stage" to Kusonoki's driving manga Wangan Midnight. The series previously spawned a 26-episode anime series in 2007 and a manga sequel, Wangan Midnight C1 Runner. Kusonoki's other works include Eight, Aitsu to Lullaby which was adapted into an anime film and live-action movie, and Shakotan Boogie which inspired a 4-episode OAV.

And for those interested (since I remember a few people who might be): there's also an upcoming title by the creator of Gunslinger Girl in there.

I wonder what it'll be about. Actually, this reminds me. I haven't read all of the Wangan Midnight manga - what volume does the anime cover up to?

Hm. Very interesting. I finished WanganMidnight. But I don't think I've seen Shakotan Boogie yet. I shall look into this more.

I saw some raw scans and this seems to cover more on Supercars and Exotics. Ogishima, Nobu, and Nobu's "Whitebird" Porsche 911 returns (RWB 964 without foglamps) along with some that were featured in WMMT4: Corvette ZR1 C6, Porsche 997/998 Carrera S, heck on one panel there's a Gallardo LP-570.
