Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums > Version 4 General Discussion > ID4 Machine Location List

Posted by: Kiba32b Jan 14 2008, 11:55 AM
I discussed with Razorsuke the idea for a thread listing all of the known ver. 4 machines. I am going to try and keep the list up to date, however I ask some help at first. So if anyone knows a location of a machine and wants to help please reply with the location of the machine. The point of this thread will be to create an easy to search thread where people can find the closest machine. Starting tonight I am going to scour the multiple boards and try to gather as much info on the various locations. Razorsuke has already agreed to pin this topic so please don't msg him asking him to.

Remember, this thread can only work if YOU (the reader) contributes!
So if you play ID4, please support the community and post it up smile.gif

PS. I'm going to tweak the title a little for clarification

to add to wolf's earlier post, aside from timezone in MOA, powerstation also has ID4, same price... and rockwell does not have timezone, instead the only arcade there is powerstation which also has ID4 (and gameplay is considerably more expensive)...

basically gameplay ranges from 18-33php (around 0.45-0.75 US$)... as for card costs, that will depend on where you play, can range from 100-200php (roughly US$ 2.50-5)...

Negative on Initial D 4 in Chesepeke, VA at cyberstation. Manager is fighting for it but the store is the last namco store in the area so they don't want to sink that much money in. More updates if they receive it

jus for e S'pore id players, Causeway point timezone's machine got problems.

i'm not sure if it's jus me but i tried to renew 2 different cards there n all 4 machines there will display e "error 403". but it is e cheapest place to renew ur card at $3 instead of zone x's $5 per renew.

there's one here

Japan Arcade
Little Tokyo Shopping Center
333 S. Alameda Street
Los Angeles, CA 90013-1735

it's nice and clean and not too many people play. pretty cool arcade overall but don't park inside the parking lot. they rip you off. my friend just payed 10 bucks for parking today and try not talk to the old guy that owns the arcade. he looks like a jerk.

but...if you spend 5 bucks. you get an extra dollar for every 5 dollars you use.

and there's one here

Cyberzone
3377 Wilshire Blvd Ste 104
Los Angeles, CA 90010

the place is really dirty...and the shifter is on the right side which is kinda uncomfortable for me. there's a lot of gangster wannabes but they're polite.

again if you spend at least 5 bucks you get 50 cents extra.

if you're in the los angeles area then you should go to japan arcade.

anybody else have locations?
i know i used to play at speedzone for 15 dollar all you can play tuesdays and thursdays to play initial d v3. do they v4?

biggrin.gif

Posted by: ZetaGear Jan 28 2008, 01:18 AM
GREENHILLS THEATER MALL TIMEZONE

hmm... i think you should also include the prices for ea gameplay on said arcade shop

Posted by: timyoo Jan 28 2008, 04:41 PM
oh it's a $1 a game for both places. they don't sell cards anymore at cyberzone.
and it's $5 for cards at japan arcade

Posted by: toookoooldrew118 Jan 29 2008, 08:15 PM
any of u know the ID4 skill level in cyber zone compared to japan arcade? {just curious}

Posted by: timyoo Jan 29 2008, 11:03 PM
well it depends. there's usually almost nobody at japan arcade so it's hard to say. i've only seen one really good guy.

cyberzone has a lot of good players since a lot of people that live in the LA area go there. no other arcades i know have IDAS4....but yeah they're good.

some people even share cards so they all share points.

I guess no one knows if Dallas has a machine or not. All that I can find are craptastic ID3 machines. mad.gif

BRUNEI :

Gadong Mall (BSB)
PLAY: $B2 (4 Token)
CARD: $B10 (20 Token)
VER 1.2

can somebody tell where's the ID machine at sabah? (labuan & Kota Kinabalu).

Posted by: RaidenKitsune May 28 2008, 09:00 AM
Rhode Island

Tilt @ Warwick Mall
Play: $2 (originally $3! Arcade manager is apparently insane)
Card: $5
Ver 1.2

Unfortunately the only one around here that I know of. Prices are ridiculous, and game is poorly maintained, like everything else at that pathetic excuse for an arcade. Likely only a matter of time until it's unplayably worn out, like everything else that dies there.

Excuse the tone of the post; I'm not normally so bitter, I just hate how the only arcade left in my area is the crappiest one I've ever seen.

anybody in melbourne, australia play near chinatown in the city?

does anybody know how much a game is and if its safe to make cards there or renew.

in glen waverly theres always the error even when trying to make a card.
thanks

Hardly anyone plays ID4 near Chinatown anymore, however, I'd strongly advise that you do NOT take the risk and attempt to make a new card there because chances are 1 or both the machines will just eat your coins and register a 403 error or bring up an error message stating that there's no cards in the dispenser when there are plenty. I've seen it happen in the past quite a number of times to hapless customers.

Box Hill Time Out is an ok place to make/renew a card, costing $5.00, but I've heard that its cheaper over at Sunshine, for only $3.00.

*Box Hill Time Out*

Address: 609 Station Street, Box Hill. Vic. 3128.

COST TO PLAY: $1.00 on Tuesdays, $2.00 every other day
COST TO MAKE A NEW CARD: $5.00
COST TO ADD A NEW CAR: $5.00
COST TO CONTINUE: $1.00 on Tuesdays, $2.00 every other day

*Bluehouse Amusement Centre, Russell St, City*

COST TO PLAY: $2.00
COST TO MAKE A NEW CARD: $6.00
COST TO ADD A NEW CAR: $6.00
COST TO CONTINUE: $2.00

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about what the settings/prices are for the machines located at Crown Casino, Highpoint, Chadstone, and Knox. If anyone knows, that would be cool happy.gif

wow...... thats interesting..... im surprised our machines still work.... how ever i am pushing that a glass wall or a cage be put up around the machines to prevent little kids from breaking the machines. cuz everytime im at the arcade theres always little kids on the machine pushing the shifter up and down really hard. sooner or later the shifter is going to break. and then we are going to have to wait weeks just for the shifter to get repaired.

I know this is for posting arcade cabinets, but I have just experienced the loss of an arcade and thus, the removal of the only 2 IDAS4 cabinets in my city.

Circuit Circus in Edmonton, Alberta has been closed since Sunday, January 11, 2009.

This is a definite blow to all players in my area (not sure if anyone else from Edmonton is on these forums, but either way, bah!).

Posted by: DigiBunny Jun 6 2009, 12:12 PM
What.
5 Php.
per play.

You're joking right? Where's Munoz? I live in Makati and I've NEVER heard of any game other than Tekken/SC being cheaper than 10php.

That's kind of sad though....V4 is SO unpopular it's dirt cheap. ._.

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Jun 6 2009, 09:45 PM
no kidding...

it's too far from home though, and it doesn't really interest me since it's 1.2...

that might be those machines from tom's world MOA before that were then transferred to galleria then to rob. place (and supposedly back in galleria again)...

Hey guys. I'm new here. I recently went to Knoxville, TN so if anyone was wondering about an arcade stage there, there is one. It's in Aladdin's Castle next to Regal Cinema in the West Town Mall. I can't remember if it was Arcade Stage 2 or 3. I do know that it cost 1 dollar a play. So there you go

Posted by: HALO Jul 15 2009, 05:47 AM
well, the move from NY back to PA is complete. the part that sucks is that every arcade that was in or near Allentown has closed or sold their machines in the time I was gone.

browsed this thread and had no luck, are there ANY locations in PA?

i don't want to drive back to manhattan to play (but i will! laugh.gif )

Kinda small place but hey there's good people there, the machine is well taken cared for. But the machine may be taken out because it's not getting enough plays : ( get out there and play that shit! Do it because more ID is better. Oh and there's a convenience store next door so that's handy for drinks etc.

I'm from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

There's only 1 arcade here in Quebec City, located in a huge shopping mall with indoor roller coasters and a ice ring in the amusement park where the arcade is.

All games are expensive there, you can play Midnight Maximum Tune 2 for 1,60$, exactly the same price as IDAS4 (there's 2 cabinets).

For the card (I guess because it was set like that in the arcade where these cabinets were) you have to pay 8 credits! Which means a IDAS4 card is like nearly 13$!!! blink.gif

Plus when u add credits to buy this damn card, the magnetic card your money is in to play games sometimes is not working properly so the countdown sometimes ends and not let you have time to buy the card!! So whatever credits u finally succeeded to put in, you have to play all the games with a damn stock car before you finally get a chance to try again and put the whole 8 credits in this damn machine! fear2.gif I had a hard time buying this card, so it costs me like between 20 to 30 dollars in the end lol grin2.gif

===> 1,60$ for a game, nearly 13$ for the card dry.gif

There are two Initial D 4 machines at "Jeux Américains" mobile arcade.

It tours at funfairs in Belgium. It visits cities like Namur, Liège, Tienen, Wavre, Charleroi and Tournai. You can check the current location here: http://jeuxamericains.be

Version is 1.5 and price is EUR 1.00 / play, EUR 1.00 / card and the winner of a versus match gets a free game.

I think that its next stops are Charleroi in August, Tournai in September and Liège in October to mid-November.

It's the only ID4 in Belgium AFAIK.
