yes the carbon fiber hood is better and it good for aerodynamics and slightly raises your acceleration or speed a bit. Other than that, it loos cool laugh.gif

And yes it depends on the car...i think blink.gif

reducing the weight of the car can improve top speed and accel,
but for some cars, a light hood and heavy back can leave the car unbalanced

the tunes won't make a noticable difference in times, just the way the car drives,
i remember reading that A-tune is the fastest and most drifty for the 86, so adjust to that style of driving and your times will improve...
btw, what's your current time on akina dh?

and btw, if you really can't control the driftiness, get a TRD spoiler, that should help stabilize it

They sell those cf light thignys for almost 200 bucks on ebay haha... maybe its less now...

Its REALLY a waste of money- The light cover as it is is a THIN THIN THIN piece of metal that just surrounds the lights (i know- ive taken mine off)

If i ever get a CF hood for my 86- and ihave the paint job i want ill paint the hood black and the lights black. I dont like the contrast of the hood and the lights (some cars have a good contrast- my buddy case has a black hood on his fc and it looks awesome)...Also unpainted CF looks dumb to me- i hate that "Texture" it has.

haha some bumb here did that to his civic.... he had a white civic.. with green decals all over it.. and his friend wrecked the rear of his black civic.. so the dude bought the black hood and swap the hoods out and put a Green decal on the Hood..

the reason I Know.. I Installed the M.F. it wasnt no C.F. Hood.. it was Heavy as shit... that and it still had the hood light on the under side tongue.gif

In V2 I got the carbon hood accidentally in my R32. I wanted to get the original hood back so when I got it, I went to do an Akagi UH trial and I went faster by 3 seconds! So yeah on some cars it does matter.
