Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums > Announcement Board > Temporary Shutdown 2/12/13

Hello IDW,

As it turns out, our only option for now, to protect the site and it's membership, is to temporarily shut it down while I communicate with Perry and repair the damage to the site code. This is an emergency measure and there's no getting around it.

I will be shutting out site access at 10am PST today, so prepare to see an out-of-order notification for a while afterwards. I cannot predict exactly when the site will be back online, but rest assured that Perry and I will be working around the clock to get things running smoothly again.

Our chat room will still be up in the meantime. Remember, we're on Rizon, chatroom #IDWF. I will be in there periodically to update everybody on what's happening.

Stay strong,
///TESSOU///

I'll be on Skype if anyone wants to talk to me while our site is down. Hell, I need someone to talk Walking Dead with! I'll see everyone on Skype or IRC. In the mean time what does this mean for the radio server and our shows?

IDW itself will be down. Go2ID.net is not affected, nor are any of our sister sites (thanks to N1 for confirming this thumbsup.gif ), so anything attached to the server itself, and not specifically IDW, should be fine. I believe the radio goes through the server, so getting shows up and running should be fine.
