I bought this a while ago and always wondered if this was a real Initial D product or a cheap knock-off.
And is there a way to know?

I'm not aware of those models having issues with counterfeits/bootlegs. Hopefully someone else might be of more help. Also, I moved this thread to the more appropriate subforum.

Those look legit to me,Ive seem them in Toysrus and Walmart. I have the bigger model,altho I lost the box.

Nobody has any reason to counterfeit these things, as they were already cheaply made by Jada. Unless you bought this from a Chinese or HK seller on Ebay, I wouldn't worry about it.

Looks legit. I have what you have as well on pic 3 and pic 4... slightly damaged, but yeah, it's original. I have never seen counterfeits of these things.

They made these with Tokyopop, probably legit

looks pretty legit i guess these were made around the time first stage was dubbed in english and sold as merch
