Some of the funniest lines in Initial D has always been in the preview section of 1st Stage. It’s so funny I think most people have not noticed this so I typed out all the conversations. I highly recommend die-hard fans who are looking for more laughs in the anime to watch these previews, they are really funny when you hear the voice actors saying this.

Act 01 : The Ultimate Tofu Store Drift
Announcer: Drift fans and Eight-Six owners! Thanks for waiting! At last it begins! Initial D! What do you think of Takumi’s super drift technique…racing his 1.6 litre non-turbo Eight-Six…against a high potential 350HP FD?! Pretty cool don’t you think?! And for those who understand all the technical jargon…Initial D shows you the essential details! Next time get ready to watch another exciting race! Don’t Miss it!

Act 02 : Revenge! The Rumbling Turbo
Announcer: Okay, today’s guest is the stubborn owner of the Fujiwara Tofu Shop…Mr. Bunta Fujiwara.
Bunta: Hmm…
Announcer: Mr. Bunta, according to your theory…driving technique cannot be taught. You must find it on your own, right? That was really cool. I was impressed.
Bunta: Thanks
Announcer: Well, can you please tell us the next episode’s highlights?
Bunta: You should just wait and see.
Announcer: Huh? Anyways, please look forward to the next episode of Initial D!

Act 03 : The Downhill Specialist Appears
Announcer: Okay, today’s guest is famous for his aggressive driving…member of the RedSuns…Takahashi Keisu-…!
Keisuke: GIVE ME THAT! Hurry up and show yourself, GHOST OF AKINA! Maybe you got scared and ran away!
Announcer: Well, who do you think is going to win this time?
Keisuke: SHUT UP! Of course I will! Whatever it takes, I’ll get my revenge!
Announcer: Next time on Initial D, finally, “Into the Battle!” Who will win? It’s a high tension battle between the FD and Eight-Six! Don’t Miss it!

Act 04 : Into the Battle!
Announcer: Finally, the race has begun, hasn’t it, Takumi?!
Takumi: Hai…
Announcer: Did you do any special practice for this battle?
Takumi: No, not particularly…It’s the usual way I deliver to-
Announcer: Oh, I see! The regular run you do is helping you, isn’t it?!
Takumi: I suppose so-
Announcer: By the way, do you have any secret plan for passing the FD?!
Takumi: Well , yes…It’s not exactly a secret plan, but-
Announcer: Ahhhh! A date with Natsuki in the Eight Six with a full tank of gas is riding on this so you have no option but to win!
Takumi: Hai…
Announcer: Next time on Initial D! Something will happen in the five consecutive hairpin curves! Don’t Miss It!

Act 05 : Dogfight!
Itsuki: Damn! You traitor, Takumi! AARRGGHH!!!
Announcer: All of a sudden you’re strolling in!
Itsuki: (with a emotional sad voice) He went to the ocean with Mogi and without me, HIS BEST FRIEND!!
Announcer: Ummm…you wanted to see Natsuki in her swimsuit, didn’t you?
Itsuki: OF COURSE!! Takumi was alone with her. (panic voice) He must have done something with her! I’M SURE OF IIIITT!
Announcer: Next time on Initial D! A new air in the battle…
Itsuki: AAHHHH!!!!
Announcer: Don’t Miss It!

Act 06 : A New Challenger
Announcer: I heard about it. You were a very famous street racer in Akina once.
Yuiichi: Yeah. I often drove with Bunta.
Announcer: Now in Akina, Takumi is going to race with Nakazato of the Night Kids.
Yuiichi: Yeah… But Takumi doesn’t want to race.
Announcer: ERR?! What?! Then WE CAN’T SEE THEM BATTLE?!
Yuiichi: Don’t worry. I have an idea. Leave it to me. Next time on Initial D. The Pride of the Street Racers.

Act 07 : Pride of a Racer
Announcer: Kenji, who do you think will win this battle Itsuki got us into, the Three-Two or the Eight-Six?
Kenji: Of course, I’d like to say the Eight-Six but I don’t know if even Takumi can beat a GT-R, the fastest domestic.
Announcer: The biggest question is if Takumi will even come to race!
Kenji: ah?!
Announcer: If he doesn’t show up, then Kenji will once more-
Kenji: GAHR!! DON’T SAY IT!
Announcer: Next time on Initial D, “Time’s Almost Up!”
Kenji: TAKUMI, PLEASE GET HERE QUICKLY!!!!
Announcer: Don’t Miss It!

Act 08 : Time's Almost Up!
Announcer: Mr. Nakazato, what is your chance of winning against the Eight-Six?
Takeshi: Can’t you tell without asking?
Announcer: You mean your Three-Two’s going to win. But Ryosuke Takahashi said-
Takeshi: HE’S just a coward since his brother lost! I will teach that that I, Takeshi Nakazato, am the fastest in Gunma. I’ll show them once and for all that GRIP DRIVING IS BETTER THAN DRIFTING!
Announcer: Er…what does…
Takeshi: It means, ACTION…ACTION!! Pssst!!
Announcer: Next time on Initial D. Battle to the Limit!!
Takeshi: Pssst!!

Act 09 : Eight Six vs. GT-R
Announcer: Ryosuke, most expected the Three-Two to have a great advantage.
Ryosuke: The R32 is 4640 mm long and 1720 mm wide, and weights a thousand and-
Announcer: In other words-
Ryosuke: In other words, the R32 is 4640 mm long and 1720 mm wide-
Announcer: In other words, travelling downhill, Takumi might-
Ryosuke: In other words, the R32 is 4640 mm long and-
Announcer: ALL RIGHT ALREADY! Next time on Initial D, “The Five Consecutive Hairpins!” Don’t Miss It!

Act 10 : Five Point Hairpin
Announcer: Are you crying, Mr. Iketani?
Iketani: IT’S A CRY OF JOY! My S13 is finally coming back to me!
Announcer: Oh, yes, that tragic S13 that crashed in Episode Two! Huh?! Iketani-san, what’s wrong with you?
Iketani: By the way…I heard a red EG6 was after Takumi’s Eight-Six. Do you know anything about it?
Announcer: No. Next on Initial D… “Shingo Arrives!” Don’t Miss It!

Act 11 : Shingo Arrives!
Natsuki: What do I want right now?
Announcer: Yeah.
Natsuki: I want to spend more time with Takumi. To go on dates more often and make a lot of memories as a couple. We’re on summer vacation but Takumi is too busy working. And even when we are together, he’s always staring off into the distance and isn’t really there for me-(you can hear Natsuki keep on talking continuously…)
Announcer: We don’t have much time, so-, Next time on Initial D, “The FR Killer” Don’t Miss It!

Act 12 : The FR Killer
Itsuki: (Calmly reading) Love fortune: This week your relationship will develop further. COOL!!
Announcer: Did something good happen Itsuki?
Itsuki: I’M GOING TO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!
Announcer: Really?! CONGRATULATIONS! Who is the lucky girl?
Itsuki: The girl from the double date!
Announcer: AH! Saori! Wait…(softly speaking) the fortune also tells you not to push too hard or you’ll find yourself in trouble. Next time on Initial D, “Itsuki’s First Date”, Don’t Miss It!

Act 13 : Itsuki's First Date
Announcer: Wasn’t it wrong to involve Itsuki and make him spin out like that, Shingo?
Shingo: It’s okay, as long as I can drag out the Eight-Six.
Announcer: No way…
Shingo: Since I know for sure that I’ll beat him with the gum tape rule, just winning isn’t enough fun. I’ll give you a flashy show.
Announcer: Next time on Initial D: “Evolving Drift!”
Shingo: Hmph! I’ll make sure he can taste the fear of the downhill.

Act 14 : Evolving Drift
Takumi: (muttering with echo effect) I won’t forgive him…I don’t want to lose to him…

Mako: Maybe that was a little too much…
Announcer: There’s tons of good-looking guys…so why Iketani?!
Mako: But I kind of like him…
Announcer: I REALLY DON’T GET IT! (Announcer gets boinked in the head by Iketani)
Iketani: Next on Initial D: “Sudden-Death Death Match.”
Mako: Don’t Miss It!

Act 17 : Sudden-Death Death Match
Sayuki: We’re street racers!
Mako: Yeah
Announcer: What will you do if Mako quits racing, Sayuki?
Sayuki: I’ll still be racing.
Mako: Sayuki.
Announcer: So, you won’t retire?
Sayuki: No, I’ll be racing after men!
Mako & Announcer: Eh?
Sayuki: (talking to herself in an evil tone) Where are all the good-looking men? Where are they?

Bunta: Who knows?
Announcer: Who knows?!
Bunta: I sell tofu, not predictions.
Announcer: I’ll have Gunmo and Atsuage.
Bunta: I have seasoned that Eight-Six. No one can touch it downhill. It’s up to the driver. We’ll see next week.
Announcer: What if I bought Momen and Kinugoshi, too?
Bunta: Next on Initial D… “Super Drift”. It’s a must-see.
Announcer: Don’t Miss It!

Act 19 : Super Drift!
Yuiichi: Iketani…If men weren’t honest with themselves mankind would’ve been extinct long ago.
Announcer: You’re right Boss!
Yuiichi: The beginning of a relationship is important. Make sure that you don’t (phone is ringing) br-r-r-r-r-ing br-r-r-r-r-ing…..(moment of silence)…Hi, Honey…I’m on my way…

Lol I guess i feel like I'm a little high. Good thing my major in University is all about art and not too much reading...whew...or else that wouldn't be good. Anyway I'm updating parts of Wikipedia Initial D now as anyone will notice.

One thing that surprised me...some miscellaneous guy/gal just added Purple Shadow, which is GREAT!! I wonder who it is. Hmmmm...anyway the Lan Evo jerks aren't at the site yet however but I won't be able to add them on that segment until much later on.

So the updating continues.

Yeah the change of Purple Shadow being added wasn't too long ago cuz it was during my updating. Thanks for following up Tessou.

Anyway again, I've added the Characters & Car Modifications at wikipedia so it's going to be wild since people will be looking at it and probably start making changes if any errors are present.

YaY! Me and Smiley Helped!

Yes, definitely!! Thanks again!!

Oh and probably later on I'll add a section concerning driving techniques in Initial D. I never thought of this until I was looking around the Naruto wikipedia. I noticed how their jutsu's were laid out made me realize out of common sense that I should put an Initial D section concerning signature moves/techniques. I'll post up the ones used by specific people in the TV series.

Other than that...yippee...Initial D has from 2 pages only to an additional 4 pages totalling 6. More to come. Pictures will be added later. On top of that, I've added the manga/anime differences however it's still being edited.

This oughta be pinned. It's becoming one hell of a godly thread. biggrin.gif

I'll be fixing more errors and adding what I can throughout the day, Chidoki.

EDIT: Fixed a lot of problems on the Eurobeat link. A few extra artists were added, and I learned that there were TWO different iterations of Max Coveri in Eurobeat history!
EDIT: Touched up the Matt Land page. The original version was terrible.

KANTO REGION, JAPAN:
The Kantō region (Japanese: 関東地方, Kantō-chihō) is a geographical area of Honshū, the largest island in Japan. The region encompasses seven prefectures around Tokyo: Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba, and Kanagawa. Its boundaries are roughly the same as those of the Kantō plain. The plain itself, however, makes up only slightly more than 40 percent of the region. The rest consists of the hills and mountains that border it except on the seaward side.

GUNMA PREFECTURE:
Gunma is the northwestern-most prefecture of the Kanto, and is mostly mountainous in the north, with more of the population concentrated in the southern half facing Saitama Prefecture.

IBARAKI PREFECTURE:
Ibaraki Prefecture is the northeastern part of the Kanto region, stretching between Tochigi Prefecture and the Pacific Ocean and bounded on the north and south by Fukushima Prefecture and Chiba Prefecture. The northernmost part of the prefecture is mountainous, but most of the prefecture is a flat plain with many lakes.

CHIBA PREFECTURE:
Most of Chiba lies on the hilly Boso Peninsula, a rice farming region: the east coast, known as the Ninety-Nine League Plain, is an especially productive area. The most populous zone, in the northwest of the prefecture, is part of the Kanto plain that extends into the urban agglomeration of Tokyo and Saitama.

Whoever did the ID Eurobeat page needs to crack down. I had to fix grievous misspellings of names.

Corrected a few more errors on the ID Eurobeat page. Somebody snuck in when I wasn't around and changed Wings of Fire to Wings on Fire for both entries... needless to say I was a bit pissed. Corrected! tongue.gif

As always, I'll be checking and correcting errors as I find them. I'm constantly snooping Wikipedia, so not much is gonna get by. laugh.gif

There was a debate over the manga section so i deleted that section. I also deleted the anime section and decided to simplify both of those sites by cutting out all the summaries. yes that's what i did.

I think wikipedia members thought of what i did as advertising and they didn't care much. Well i can't blame them since i kinda understand what it must have meant but i guess they didn't get my point of view. Anyway the bigger side of the story wins towards the bigger crowd response so i decided the delete.

But then again...i merged the anime and manga section to create a new page. Simplified it may be but i guess idforums will keep the episode and manga volumes NON-Spoiler summaries instead which is alright.

I think it should be alright now...even if i put a lot of time into it to...plus to redo...whew like trial and error...

I have completely updated the "Initial D Real-Life Locations and Popularity" at Wikipedia Initial D. This segment has a lot of references to a lot of stuff but I know i'm missing a lot more references...Please do add what I'm missing if you all know any and fix errors.

I have just been looking around the wikipedia Initial D segment and I'm happy to see that there have been changes taking place everywhere, as well as segments being reorganized.

Little by little i can see small differences so i'm just happy that the wikipedia project I started is being reworked for the better every now and then.

On the front page, 3 pics were also added. It's not the best pics I'd say but it's still a great start I'm still happy to say. So far so good, changes will take place occasionally so that's good.

I'll see what I can do to wikipedia later on after my exams. I might add pics next.
