Today, I went out to buy something, when I was on my way to home, I found out the car was low on gas. So I went to the gas station that I always go to. (It's ARCO by the way) Then I found out that the whole station went out of gasoline ! OH MY GOD ! Later, I had to drive another 3 miles for another gas station to fill it up. Just for your information, the price of gasoline is ridiculously high lately. ARCO is pretty cheap compare to other gas station, but still, it's $1.859 / gallon for 87 Unleaded. Crazy ... I guess I will have to start walking / biking. |

here its 82-86 cents the liter ...but in France its 2 $/liter !!!! |
Posted by: killerenergy Feb 23 2003, 05:45 PM |
82 cents a liter and if 2 liters are in a gallon thats 1.64, witch is relivly high, but two$ for a liter in france? that has to be wrong, maybe it's in french currency? and if it's the euro then thats even higher the the $. ON topic. Sorry I don't car but runing out of gas, hasn't happened here yet, if it does I'll see it all over the news. It's Kinda like that fire in the club, nobody really cares till somthing bad happens, Clubs could of be unsafe for years and now they will create a big thing. |

Our prices in vegas went up too... Regular 87 ~1.80/ gal. Mid-grade 89 ~1.88/ gal. Premium 91 ~1.91/ gal. Racing 105 ~3.00/gal. Man, getting about 16mpg is starting to hurt! Luckily I still have my Honduh for a daily driver. |

I work 45 minute drive from my house so walking/riding a bike is out of the question... running 93 in my car is getting old to at nearly 2 dollars a gallon! Can't wait till I get my 180SX motor so I can get some decent fuel economy (not to mention that psssssh sound ) |
Posted by: Jayson Feb 25 2003, 12:35 PM
thats what it's all about |

gas here in western PA is hovering around 1.599 for 87 octane, around 1.79 for 93 octane, i haven't looked at the price for 94, cuz sunoco is the only station with it, and it's not on the sign |
Posted by: Jayson Feb 25 2003, 01:24 PM |
thats not bad |
Posted by: Alex Feb 25 2003, 03:53 PM
im in south-eastern PA and its pretty similar. about $1.64/gallon. my moms car holds 24 gallons and i just grabbed a calculater and so if my moms tank was completely empty it would cost almost $40 to fill it up...damn. gas prices are too high now a days. Im almost 13 and saying that. I remember when i lived in VA 5 years ago it was pretty affordable. When ever im with my parents and they need to gas up im out before them ready to pump, lol. Im also my dads beer fetcher. lol |

eeep, in Adelaide South Australia regular unleaded has been about 98 cents a litre lately >.< I think about $1.07 for BP's Ultimate 98 Hi-Octane which is what I use (doesn't seem like any of you have access to 98??). Price could easily be dropped if Govt. just dropped the tax from petrol, at least temporarily in these hard times =\ fortunately I don't have a fuel thirsty car. About 40mpg I think in my Mazda 121 |
Posted by: *Capsulesâ„¢* Mar 5 2003, 08:00 PM |
oh lawd, it keeps rising . . . It wont stop! |
Posted by: S15-guy Mar 5 2003, 08:04 PM
Why on eath do you run '98 in a Mazda 121? Does it have a massive turbo with detonation problems? |
Posted by: SuperMazdaKart Mar 5 2003, 08:35 PM |
well no, no turbo or anything like that. 98 is the cleanest unleaded fuel. Maximises engine power & performance of any unleaded car. Also cleans out the engine too & has the least pollution. Supposedly better fuel economy too cause of it having more power per litre. It's approved by the Australian Greenhouse Offce =0 So yeh, pretty much better in every way for the car & the environment except pricing. I'd rather the highest quality stuff then lowest. Don't want to risk using some cheap unleaded that might be mixed with too much ethanol & cause costly damage repair bills =( |

dude, ur pump gas is 98 octane! that rocks |
