I want to try the ISO of the game for evaluation purposes, because importing from the states or Japan would cost.... ALOT.... believe you me, and I'm not sure where I can find it. Does anyone have it, and/or is willing to send it to me?

I saw a 250 meg version on Edonkey/Overnet named "Initial D (PSX-Japanese).rar" If anyone can download this one (I am having trouble in my timezone finding anyone who isn't queued) could you please send it? I'm a believer of one good turn deserves another, and I'll try and hook you up with whatever I can, and I possibly might be able to upload the game to a FTP server so everyone can share it.

Thanks.

I don't know.....

Really, try finding any online site, import of course.

But if you are looking for the ISO's, I suggest you just keep searching. It's quite tough to find.

I've got it. It's pretty fun. Not very realistic, but it's still alot of fun when you blast europop music from the stereo whilst driving biggrin.gif (the original music.... sucks)

If you guys want to grab a hold of it, check out Initial D Xtreme's message board.

http://idx2.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi

Don't be too disapointed if it's not as great as you thought it would be though.

Ah.. I see XD Well, my PSX is chipped, so it can play imports. But I doubt I'll be buying the game.

You're using nero right? to rip the game just change the recorder under one of the settings above to 'image recorder'.
Then do a Cd to Cd copy and it should make an .nrg file.

If you did this please send me the iso! I've been looking all over for it!

I'll just upload it to my own FTP and I'll give you the URL for it. I'll PM you so check your PMs. I'll have it up for ONE week only...7 days from when I PM you, and plz don't give out the URL because I don't want to use up a lot of bandwidth. so check your PMs everyday

Bleem is garbage and doesn't work XP. There are others though like Epsxe
but it's just a headache to configure

try gzip it with winrar.

but I don't really know how you do that, I just know gzip (*.tar.gz) is the most compressed type of file.

One time I see a file is being compressed to 1/10 of its original size, crazy...

sorry everybody but I am NOT hosting the iso file any longer. my host was given to me for free under the condition that I do not use too much space and bandwidth.

if you wish to get the file ask Zephyr, he might give it to you
