Synopsis: Narumi Fujishima is a plain high school boy, who has been isolated in the class. His classmate, Ayaka Shinozaki, invites Narumi to the gardening club and introduces a hikikomori detective named Alice to him.

First episode is 48 minutes long. To describe it in short, it's Gosick 2.0 set in modern world. But the case makes more sense to me in this one. So far so good, I might follow this.

Definitely a modern day Gosick. So far the cases are kinda generic and predictable, not as good as Gosick's opening cases though.

Looks pretty good so far. Kinda refreshing that looking at Alice, not too tsuntsun. Kinda looks like Touhou's Kaguya. I love that Sarashi episode awesome.gif

I like Alice better than Vic cos she's more lively and less (much) arrogant. And Narumi is not half as pussy as Kujo and reminds me of Kyon. Which makes it more watchable to me. Lol.

The opening episode was 'woah!', but the subsequent ones turn out to be too normal and obvious. :/

This is exactly what I thought when I saw the first episode. However, I don't know whether I prefer Alice or Victorique.

I like Vic cause she be smoking dat pipe and has a bit more colour to her personality imo. Alice just sits on her ass staring at monitors all day, but there's still time for her to grow on me i guess lol.

I'm not liking the Neet glorification vibe from the show though, well actually it's just the military geek dude that i find annoying haha.
I'm way behind and have only watched upto eps 4 btw.

I don't like the series as a whole; it's boring and it's too predictable. I still like the first episode, though. :/

Funny how Gosick got criticised for the same thing too. Must be somehting about these light-hearted detective shows or something lol

Last episode i saw was the raman one at the start of the show, i liked that one. Been finding it a little hard in watching the other episodes though haha

Does that girl he first meet ever end up doing anything later on? They skipped over her arc completey, which ironically was suppose to be how the show actually begins lol (much like GOSICK and Avril as well)

If you were referring to the garden club girl,
SPOILER

Comparing Gosick and this one, I'd prefer this one simply because there's no Kujo. laugh.gif
