This is making PS3 more interesting , but my mind still the same.

I'm not going to buy PS3 before the full Gran Turismo 5 is released.

Still When the .... that GT5 will out there are too many good games now.

I think GT5 is due for a summer release last I checked (which was a while back). MGS4 not enough of a lure for you to get a PS3? I wonder if ID Extreme Stage is gonna get hyped on these boards. Street Stage didn't, but I can understand - handheld games don't usually get as much as attention as their console counterparts.

HAHA I had this pre ordered as soon as I had noticed it on the Play Asia site (blind as there was no screen shots at the time).

FedEX rush shipping FTW...I've got a few friends in on the order as well...

the only new course is Happogahara that already appeared in V2 and V3

spending $500us for PS3 and wheel only for this game is not worth, unless you need a Blu-Ray player for your HDTV. No game I want for PS3 at this moment I won't buy it.

MGS4? Uncharted? COD4? GTA4? GT5? Initial D? Given that only one of those games are actually out right now, I can understand your point. But those games will be out within 3 months - if you aren't into any of those games, what are you into?

I'm thinking about remodeling my computer area so I can use a wheel with the game. I figure I was due for a larger comp monitor anyways whistling.gif

I was planning to get either a white or a silver PS3 when my friend comes back from Japan (second PS3 for my home theater) so this plan might just work out...

If Initial D Extreme Stage for PS3 is released.
I hope they will sell in a package also
Package include: Initial D Arcade Stage 4 Steering Wheel, Brake and Gas Pedal and Initial D Arcade Stage 4 Card Reader.

I also wish that Initial D Extreme Stage Online Battles is compatible with Arcade Stage 4 Online Battles
So if you are playing Initial D Extreme Stage at home, you can challenge people playing Initial D Arcade Stage 4 in the arcade. (Although quite impossible...)

I don't see them going out of their way to do those types of extras. There *might* be a Logitech wheel out that they'll repackage with ID branding (like they did for Special Stage PS2). There won't be a card reader that's for sure...

A card reader would actually be kinda cool. Although it's not the most feasible thing for them to do, as you'd need to constantly maintain the reader, and have a steady supply of cards to write onto.

Would be a nice feature to have though, an option to import your driver data (wins, losses, avatar, etc.) and 3 cars from your PS3 save file. It's nice to dream sometimes.

do you realize how hard everyone would get owned
not only are the japs faster than everyone else, they also know every possible glitch with the online battling
some of the ones are quite ridiculous and you wouldn't believe it until you see it

Unfortunately no new news yet. Either the date of the news we're anticipating was interpreted wrong, or there is no news known to be published anytime soon

I second this.

There's only one time something really crazy happened to me. And that was on Irohazaka. I dunno what happened but the other car went poof. >_> And I won by like 800m.

Oh well.

But I've not heard of any crazy glitches. Just people abusing boost.

Being that this is 2008 and online console play was introduced back in the 2002 days of Dreamcast?

...

still 100%.

*2000

By 2002, the Dreamcast was discontinued crying2.gif

Anyways, I had virtually no interest in ID4 after my first time playing it, but if its out for PS3 I might just have to pick it up for old times sake(assuming US players can play online - in BG3 for PS2 you could only play online in Japan =\)

Ah...good to know. I'm sure something will pop up soon.

And I'm sure the online mode will work for gamers that are not located in Japan. I've got a few import games and I can get online to play other players rather easily. I don't see why it would be any different.
