And they both seem to go awesome, but everyone tells me that ae86's are the best.. :/ I'm gonna update my card to ID5, and do you think I should make a 86? Or stick to my s15.. :/? I've never lost a in-store battle with my s15... But then again, the 86 might be faster. :] Just wondering what I should do! So I thought, why not post here? |

The AE86 is good. for sure it will be good because it is the main car of the story. but there are many many AE86s around. on the other hand... 180sx and S15 are both pretty uncommon. Rare in fact. but somewhat more challenging to learn than the 86 and FD. i have a Sil80... it runs decently well so its your choice. you want to start the best car and be one of the many who start the AE86 just because it is the best car? or start the 180sx and s15 because it is what you like... |

It just gives me a fatal error on whichever browser i use -.-... anyway. @stormfox Good point.. I think I might add a 86 onto my liscence.. But keep my s15 as the main one.. So is ID5 harder than ID4? @venth85 I kinda rather 6 gears.. I know it has its disadvantages on some tracks, but I seem to go well on ID4.. |

ID4 to ID5 conversion? unless you are in japan with jap cards.... outside of japan versions are a no conversion anywhere. erm... unless you all got something that we dont... are you very very sure your friend converted an ID4 card to ID5? ------------------- hmm... it is more in a general.. 6 speed is much harder to handle in ID5. cos some of the cornering speeds are like smack at the edge of 6speed gears. not to mention extra shifting needed cos this version is extreme braking and acceleration based. if you are going to start both 180sx and S15 sooner or later... i would suggest going with the 180sx first. 5speed is much easier to get the hang of first. then you have one less worry when exploring the new physics and tracks. then.. you can challenge yourself with a 6speed. take your pick. whichever car you choose, they will work equally well in general play just choose something that you like and will have fun with and yea.. ID5 is more complicated than ID4. you'll find out soon enough with or without people telling you. This post has been edited by stormfox on Apr 30 2009, 12:12 AM

hmmmmmm............ outside japan... our machines are Version EXP. which is different from Japan. i remember reading somewhere that Jap cards cannot convert on EXP version machines. EXP for EXPort.. looks the same as jap machines... but it really isnt. This post has been edited by stormfox on Apr 30 2009, 01:50 AM

Doesn't it have one of the best start up at well? Go for the S15. |

Well honestly, I don't start at full throttle.. I keep at around 1/4-1/2 throttle throughout the first part of the race.. Then I speed up whenever.. And wizz by them, just to confuse them.. :>

Using them well isn't really anything to brag about since they are both well rounded cars. I actually take a fancy to the Silvia Spec R. I'm using a Supra right now, but I was very satisfied using it in a test run. A very solid choice for both power and cornering. |

Meanwhile, 180SX is also good in the way of TA (two courses second course car)... But i'll go with the 180SX because it's 5 gear. |
