Hey guys. Does turning off the headlights gives out anything other than disappearing in other people's map and rear mirror?

Actually is there a video tutorial about the Brake Accel SonicSP mentioned? Like how is it different from Brake Canceling?

Well, I've not seen a video tutorial yet.

But BA is more of holding brake, while tapping accel.
BC is tapping brake, then release brake and tap accel.
In IDAS8 BC is more frequently chained. Like for example on Myogi I would usually tap 1 BC, then wait, then tap 2 BCs, and let go accel.

BA is more frequently used though.

You can try getting to know your local arcade's pros, and learn from them smile.gif

Basically hold brake with your left foot while tapping Accel with your right foot. All done very very fast and early. I noticed that continuing it longer may actually make you drift less in some situations since you want to actually give your car time to slide.

It's very hard to do at first because the technique doesnt't work in the previous two games but once mastered it's very helpful. I was extremely intimidated by it at first but with practice it becomes easier.

I think you have that backwards. BA (Brake/Accel) is alternating between Brake and Accel, while BC (Brake Cancel) is holding the brake while tapping the accel, essentially canceling the braking. At least from my understanding.

Wrong, the original was right.

BA is the newer term that refers to holding the brake and tapping the accelerator.
BC was the main tactics used in IDAS7 in which you hold the accelerator, quickly let go of the accelerator, tap the brake, and press the accelerator again.

EDIT: Missed a step.

Yeah that's pretty much it. BC term and technique has been in use in both D6 and D7 and was even adapted from PC technique from D4 referring to "Penalty Cancel".

BA technique started in D8 but some has noted that it's similar to a drifting technique from D5.
