I live in an area heavily populated by various Asian ethnicities but I've never managed to find an Asian book store that carries manga in Chinese all they ever seem to carry is random Chinese books on health and beauty... So I'm wondering if there is a chain of Asian bookstores anywhere in California, and if so where? |

Intresting though, one in Little Tokyo, maybe I'll check it out when I get the time to go to LA. Thanks Alastair! Anywhere else I could go? I've looked at the Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo (in LA) and I didn't find any Chinese translations of the manga. I'll check the Kinokuniya in Costa Mesa later when I have the time. But it really bothers me that I can't find a place that sells the manga in Chinese. I remember seeing it a long long time ago at a small shopping plaza in a Chinese book store, but when I went back to that place a few weeks ago I found that all the shops closed... I'll try Chinatown (also in LA) next time I get the chance. But in the mean time, does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can go to find any kind of manga in Chinese? ... Maybe Perry could point me in the right direction? |
