One of my favorite cars of all time. It was a Ford Mustang built for track duty, the road course kind. It had a 2.3 Turbo motor that mad 205HP stock, but can make much much more very easily. The stock internals are good for 500+HP. The stock turbo is good for about that too, but youd wanna go bigger. The supension is the high point, one of the best handling live rear axle cars ever made. I hope to own one someday.. what do you guys think of it?

Well it might look like it, but that car is an 86. That is a precursor to what the 87-93 models would look like.

Heres a pic of a 1986 5.0 GT.

That's because the falcon and mustang were the same fox body chassis. See Mad Max.

Now as far as at the SVO, probably one of the worst stangs ever built. The turbos were known for blowing oil seals and cooking pistons. But it least it didn't have all the nasty GT bodywork. Best late 80's model stangs were the LX 5.0's. Light powerful and same underpinnings as the svo or GT. Of course never liked any stang really because the rear was to touchy. Stangs are me too cars where I'm from. "I have a mustang, wow me too. No kidding so do I, yea me too...etc etc etc. But as the old saying goes know your enemy.

HAH! Surely you are not serious. The SVO suspension is totally unique, and the 2.3T is a tank. Its good for tons of power... upwards of 400 with stock internals. Way better than the 5.0 LX, much better handling, just as fast, etc.
